Whit's is one of my favorite places in Jacksonville! I usually visit the Jax Beach location but occasionally if in the area, I'll stop here. This location has great employees, service and of course custard! I almost always order the flavor of the day made into a River City Delight Whitser. I've never had a bad flavor or experience here. Make sure to check out their to-go pints and quarts!
My husband and I moved to Jacksonville in early 2023. We heard about Whit's Frozen Custard of Avondale and thought we'd give it a try. Whoa! What a fabulous treat! Our only problem? We want to eat there every day.

I've been to almost every Whit's location in Jax and St. Augustine. We love their $5 ice cream sandwiches (Whitties), and they are perfect for kids, though a little big. This location is always clean, orderly. Staff is fast. And both times I've been to this one, other customers were in and out so we had it to ourselves.
