The food quality at the Beach location continues to deteriorate. Ordered garlic chicken which the meat was undercooked and fatty. The 2 hibachi dinners were subpar. The steak tasted like liver. Very strange. Sadly this was my last attempt. Won’t be back.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM: I get to go orders here frequently. The service is great. The sushi and entrees are great 80% of the time. I have zero complaints in sushi. My only issue is the fried rice. If it’s called friend rice, do it on the flat grill with butter, veggies, egg and soy sauce. Quit the stupid short cuts. Don’t calk it chicken fried rice because you threw some hibachi chicken on top! The chicken should be diced and cooked in WITH the rice.

Fantastic sushi. Super fresh, high-quality fish. My wife and love the Love Boat for 2 that comes with a great selection of sushi and sashimi plus two great rolls: Yummy and Lava. The hand roles are also great as well their hamachi ponzu appetizer. We only move to JAX Beach a month ago and have bought sushi there five teams (four times take out and dinned in there once).

Took a group of 10 in for a Wednesday night birthday dinner. We were placed in a semi-private dining area that was perfect for the size of our group. The server was amazing and wrangled the dishes and orders like a pro. The food was excellent all around, delicious and fresh. No complaints from our group's picky eaters! I had the tom kai soup with chicken and a sashimi entree with rice. The soup was heavenly and I truly appreciate the sashimi dish - it was garnished with beautiful fresh plants rather than the tacky plastic flowers some places use. Everyone was very pleased as dishes came out, beautiful presentation for all, even the kids meal. The restaurant was kind enough to place our ice cream cake in the freezer and bring it out at the perfect time, with a little candle (I had forgot to bring some). Everything was perfect and my family made some wonderful memories last night. Thank you, we will be back again!
Kid-friendliness: They were kind to all guests of all ages and provided a beautiful bento kids meal for our picky youngest guest. He loved the oranges included in the bento the most!
