La Michoacana Jax - Mexican Snacks and Ice Cream

This place is cute! A wide variety of flavors of paletas and ice cream. I was a little disappointed in the lack of flavors of aguas frescas. I asked if I could have 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 horchata and they said no, so I got a medium of both. They were ok—very very sweet! The horchata tasted like a premade mix, not authentic. I also tried a sample of ice cream which had good flavor but the texture indicated it had been thawed and refrozen a few times. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. I would definitely go back again to give it another chance! Maybe mangonada next time??

This was our third time here but my first since needing to go dairy free. So many amazing options! All of the fresh fruit sorbets were dairy free and super refreshing! This will definitely become a summer staple for us.

Wow! This place is outstanding. The ice cream is homemade and delicious. The service was kind and helpful. We didn't know what a lot of the items were and they were so helpful. We will be back!

I came back a second time because the girls that served me my first time here were polite. Sadly that was not the experience I had this afternoon. The girl today was rude. She seemed annoyed and had an attitude when I asked her about the flavors. They don’t have labels! I couldn’t have been nicer when asked about flavors she immediately cut me off and had an attitude. The portions were much less this go around as well. I will kindly take my money elsewhere & suggest that the girl this evening is better trained to treat paying customers respectfully.

The store was hot and the ice cream wasn’t the best, I’ve tried better but the ambience was good. Chairs were uncomfortable.

Ice cream was ok. What bothered me was the staff, the lady who was serving us gave me an attitude for asking questions so I won’t be coming back.

When going for a mangonada I thought it would be the “typical” but no, it is a simple mango ice cream with chamoy.

The ice cream was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! The price was reasonable, it is very clean, and the worker was nice and friendly. I will definitely be back.
