The lady behind the counter was very very nice. We went early in the afternoon on a Thursday. There was no one else there. We bought chocolates for the kids, which they said was the best chocolate they had ever had. For the adults we ordered a variety of macarons. My favorites were Rose, Pistachio, Violet Cassis and Lemon cream. Those had the most intense flavors to me. The lavender was good but very delicate. I would eat it with a very mild flavored drink. My partner had a sample of the gelato which he talked about for days. We have not yet made it back over for his gelato but I am sure we will be back.

Some friends and I were eating at Blue Fish and wanted to grab a few macrons afterwards. We knew the store closed at 8, so we hurried over and walked in at 7:50. As soon as we walked in, the young lady with short hair and a nose piercing, immediately said “we’re closing soon, tell your kids to mind their hands.” She did not want fingerprints on the glass, which we understood. We quickly ordered some ice cream and went outside and were standing at the table and she came out and said “I need you to move to the other table so I can close the umbrella.” And she said said it with major attitude without a please. I said “the word please does exist.” She was very rude which is what prompted my reply. She immediately went inside, slammed the door, screamed “f*** you!” And flipped me off. I looked at the clock when we walked back to our car and it was exactly 8pm, so we didn’t even stay past the closing time.We live in Avondale and frequently visit the shop, but this was absolutely horrible. If she is working there next time we go, we will just leave.

Purchased 6 macarons. The PB&J tasted like it had been sitting too long and absorbed the other flavors of the cooler. However the pistachio was delightful.

Le Macaron French Pastries is such a cute shopin the 5 points area. They have a selection of macaron and chocolate that really are a nice treat. When I went on a Sunday, it wasn't super busy which was nice. I was able to review all the macaron and chocolates. I was able to create an awesome experience, and also learned a fun fact that they have ice cream as well. The macarons are very tasty but really sweet. I could honestly probably eat about one in a day to curb my sweet tooth. The chocolate is also very nice. Not as sweet with more dark chocolate options which I liked. The chocolate was absolutely beautiful to look at and had some unique options. I decided to purchase a few chocolates and about 6 macarons. Each flavor was very distinct and tasty. If I am back in this area, I would stop by again and buy more.

We usually go here for gelato bc it is good. It is exp 7 dolllars for a large but they usually give 2 well rounded scoops we went this weekend and the scoops were so small . I was shocked I asked the girl is this a large? she said yes. Now I understand why no one was in there . 15 dollars for 2 gelato that were so small. I understand that the economy is hard but u don’t save anything by downgrading the portions bc u loose returning customers. I would never go here again which is a shame bc I really enjoyed their gelato.
The macarons were delicious but the young lady Mae working today was very rude. From the very beginning she was not welcoming at all. I felt rushed and when I asked her a question she seemed annoyed. She didn’t even offer for me to sample one of the macarons I was not familiar with. The icing on the cake was when she was finish ringing up my order she just threw the receipt at me on the counter. It’s unfortunate because this is a real cute bakery but that young lady left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would never return.

My husband and i are new to avondale and we’re pleasantly surprised to find this gem, i got a cappuccino and a macaron assortment both of which were delicious! Meg was very helpful and patient with us. We will definitely come again! Thank you.

Love love love this place. All macarons have almond flour*** allergy alert. The macarons are amazing. We got passion mango, violet cassis, vanilla, rose, birthday cake, chocolate. We got a pack of 6 and 3 small cups of ice cream pistachio, violet flower and cookies. All of it was amazing!

Excellent Customer service , very pretty decoration and tasteful pastries and macaroons. If they want to compare themselves to a French pastry shop though , they need to improve the choice of pastries in their window. If was very bare and sad… the macaroons were good but overpriced . Bought a dozen for more than $30… it’s $2.60 a piece …

My son wanted some macarons and it was 7:57 when he was at the door, she wouldn’t open it. I even called and she wouldn’t, she said it was “8:00” now. Well yes mam it is NOW. But as he and my husband walked to the door it was not 8:00. He just wanted 4 macarons & it wasn’t even closing time. Not to mention she wasn’t nice either.
