My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience here. Great food and awesome service. The owner, Birdie, is so kind and fun to talk with. The food is top quality with healthy and fresh ingredients. We will definitely be returning customers!

The food is freshly prepared and very authentic. The chef owner makes a point of that. Much better than any Thai restaurant I’ve tried in the Jacksonville area.

I can’t rave enough about this place. Delicious, fresh, and authentic Thai. The owner is a gracious hostess. She helped us decide on the red curry and the Panang curry . Lil’ Thai place is a little hidden gem.

Chef Berdi seems to love preparing her authentic Thai dishes as much as she does explaining the difference between traditional & American. I choose Pad-Thai with shrimp & steamed veggies on the side. A crispy glass of white wine complimented the lightness of the dish. Lun, the server was attentive & sweet. I look forward to experiencing more of her dishes ❤️

We both had the Pad Thai, bill ed as "traditional" It was the best we've had, much better than the better known Thai restaurant. The chef-waitress was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Lil ThaiPlace..

Since my limited acquaintance w/Thai food had me mistaken it's a little on the sweet side, I was pleasantly surprised my dish here was not. Maybe by design but also by education from the owner on what traditional Thai actually tastes like. Looking forward to exploring more here since my introduction was flavorful, fresh and so not the oil laden unpleasantness I've experienced elsewhere. Lucky for me the owner's intentional use of natural, clean ingredients showed. The space was a simple relaxing change of pace from some of the visually overstimulating and blasting music of flashy establishments. Music was just the right level to lull the senses so I could enjoy my meal, which I certainly did.

Food was delicious and very fresh. Pad Khing, Chicken Fried Rice, Woonsen Soup and Pork Dumplings were all fantastic. In a town with a lot of Thai options, the flavor and reasonable prices stand out here.

Most authentic Thai restaurant in Jax by far. The owner/chef works diligently and pours her love into every dish on the menu, starting with hand selecting the finest, freshest, local ingredients available. Had the Panang Curry and Tom Kha soup, both were delicious. Very gluten free friendly which is a plus for many people and healthy while still tasting amazing at the same time. Highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t expect the run of the mill non traditional, Americanized thai food loaded with MSG. Lil Thai Place is on another level.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of delicious gluten free and vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

It is an absolute pleasure for Thai food lovers like myself. My parents were not familiar with Thai. Berdi, the chef, was fantastic. She was accomodating and personable and came out to greet us and discuss the dishes with them. The location has sufficient parking, and while on the smaller (Lil'er?), it was clean and welcoming. It is deserving of its high rating. I will definitely be coming back when visiting again.

I tried the dumplings and ginger stir fry. Delicate are the tastes. Evocative of the homeland, for any that have been, or hope to go. The proprietress, Berdi, is excited to describe the course preparation and flavorings. Her enthusiasm anticipates what is soon experienced through my senses. And desert….pictured.Curry next time.

Food was good overall just the portions were very small for the price. The owner was very friendly and was running the whole store by herself which was very impressive. Many seating options and the overall vibe of the space was very homey and simple.

I was excited to try this Thai place out and was very disappointed. The sauces were runny and they covered my dish in black pepper. My wife got a very small portion and the flavor was poor. Overall I would not recommend going here again. The waiter was quite nice and service oriented but I’m in the restaurant for the food and it wasn’t worth the money.
