The service good but they do not explain when you make a reservation for 8 people that when you are charged you make two transactions for two party table when in fact it was a single table very dissected I left this place first visit and last and I have proof of what I say. Terrible.
Food is ok although doesn’t have the authentic Cuban taste. Do not order the croquetas! They are supermarket style type. The crust separates from the inside and it’s NOT ham filled at all. The moros (black beans & rice) were good but the pork chops needed salt.
Excellent!!!

This is a great place for authentic Cuban cuisine. From a large variety of Cuban dishes, I selected the Churrasco a la Parilla, with yellow rice, black beans and fried yuca. I also ordered several empanadas (beef and guava queso). EVERYTHING was so delicious. The churrasco steak was juicy and cooked just right. The yellow rice was very flavorful, and the black beans complemented the rice perfectly. The fried yuca was very good. The chimichurri and cilantro salsa are very tasty. This restaurant has El Yucateco Habanero hot sauce, which in and of itself makes me like this place. The portions are big, so I had to take some home with me to finish later - not complaining. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and customer service is great. I was helped by Soila, and was very happy with her exceptional service. The atmosphere is nice, with booths or tables to sit at, and Latin music playing in the background. I would love to go back again and again to explore their menu - I think next time I'll try the Vaca Frita. If you're in the mood for delicious Cuban food and a nice dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. It's in a nice area, too.
Edit: Back in the area again, and I thought to stop by again at least once, but the food, service, and atmosphere brought me back twice. The food was mouth-watering delicious. I tried Bistec Salteado one night and the Vaca Frita, with fried yuca 😋 and maduro 🍌.

Pleasant music, friendly staff, the place is easy to like with its diverse menu but, you really have to like the meat aspect of Cuban food, especially pork.
The new Cuban cuisine is not happening here, this is more traditional. With European influx to Cuba, it's easier to find healthy and lighter dishes there.
At Mambo's, there's not much for our vegetarian friends, two sometimes three dishes but the preponderance of meat in the kitchen does tend to carryover to the other food, a bit of a smoky meat aroma in the flavor. But, all in all, what they do they do well

Delicious Brunch! We drive from middleburg just to eat here! Everything was cooked perfectly! You have to try the cinnamon rolls too if they don’t sell out before you get there. Friendly staff, kid friendly, plenty of parking, we can’t wait to visit again.
We celebrated our anniversary here and drove from Raleigh, North Carolina. We ate here last year when we were in town on business. We made the long drive to eat here for our anniversary. The yellow rice, black bean soup and chicken dishes are the best Cuban food we’ve ever had. Nothing in South Miami beats this. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We are so thankful for the hospitality and delicious food served here and we hope to go back again soon when our schedules allow. And on top of that, the vibe here is just amazing. We sat next to a lady and her daughter and had the most interesting conversation with both of them. We definitely made memories Saturday night. It was a 5 star and beyond experience.
Terrible service to the public

I wish to try their Cuban steak sandwich, side of plantains, and cup of black bean soup as a large take out order for a couple of meals. I really enjoy a hydrated Cuban sandwich as I love the pickle and mustard craveable combination and a nice amount of cheese is scrumptious.
