Hafa Adai! We found this spot while in town visiting my daughter who recently moved to FL and we will def be back! Customer service was amazing and the food tasted just as it should. So nice meeting you all!

I ate here years ago with a friend and tried their chamorro empanada - loved it. I haven't found anything else like it in Jacksonville. I also got the ramen...very underwhelming and what looked and tasted like packaged ramen...well, I decided to just leave it and just give this place a break for a while. My family raved about this place back in the day, so I figured they're still trying to work out their food and menu.

My husband and I recently just came back from a trip to Waikiki and started missing the food real hard. Then I remembered we have a place called Mariana's Grinds that can help us reminisce.

We got a to-go order. For the price, the portions were small. The amount of rice I received for my order was the size of a little kid's fist. I feel sad to say the tocino I received, I could've just went to the Oriental store to get a package for cheaper and the taste and amount of meat would be there. My partner's loco moco patty was small and underwhelming. The mac salad was okay. The chamorro empanada was as I remembered it, great pick.

Overall, I spent more time feeling sad about the lack of great Hawaiian food options in Jacksonville than spending time remembering what it was like during our trip. I understand it won't ever be the same, but it wasn't really close imo. 😔

had a great meal here tonight! entire staff is incredibly kind and accommodating and offered suggestions for foods we should try. only slight complaint is that i just wish my burger patty in my locomoco was a little more seasoned, but it was still very good!!

The food is INCREDIBLE. If you’ve never tried Filipino food and Hawaiian BBQ, try it here. It’s a family run small business and it has that at home atmosphere. The service is wonderful. They really care about your experience. Give this place a try you won’t regret it.
