The waitstaff is outstanding! They know their food, wine, and how to have a conversation. I will be back.
Mesa is, by far, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Jax since moving here 17 years ago. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner, Saji, is there greeting people and having real conversations with them—not just “how’s the food, thanks for coming,” but a real chat that is from her heart. The FOOD, though!!! WOW!! SPECTACULAR! I’ve had lots of Indian food, but nothing like this! Everything was so special and beautifully...read full review

Mesa is a charming restaurant with a stellar atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with highlights including the pav bhaji and Kerala Shrimp & Grits, along with exciting dishes like paneer burrata, leek flatbread, and squid curry. The spice levels are gentle, making it accessible to those who prefer milder flavors. Mesa's seasonal menus offer new and creative options, full of authentic Indian flavors with a modern twist. Guests have noted the super crispy chicken wings and the vibrant tastes that stand out compared to other Indian places. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making diners feel like family, and the restaurant is a great choice for any celebration. Reservations are recommended on weekends, but walk-ins are often seated with minimal wait.
The rotating menu delights customers, and the servers provide excellent conversation. The Indian fusion in the dishes is delightful, perfectly spiced and served fresh. The owner and her son take pride in using superior ingredients for a belly ache-free experience. The ginger wings and crème brûlée are particularly praised. Customers describe the food as the best Indian they've had, with the chicken curry and shrimp and grits standing out. The owner and staff are welcoming and informative, and the restaurant uses clean ingredients and no seed oils, making dining out easy.
