I went around 7pm and did have to wait like about 20 minutes, the place does feel crowded because of how close the seats are but the food LOVE! For buffet it was Good. The meats/seafood like orange chicken or shrimp were not dry, the soup was good, the sushi was nice did not have too much rice and the sashimi was delicious no fishy taste. Even the ice cream was creamy not like other places I've had.
Everything was fresh and good real shrimps fresh oysters, good crawfish, fresh green beans, corn on the cob cabbage everything was so good. I hope it stay like this not just for the grand open. Hope it stays this way. Wow everything was so good.
Tried Mikata Buffet right after they opened and was really impressed! Everything looked fresh, lots of options from sushi to hibachi to desserts, and the place is super clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and on top of things. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. Excited to see this new spot in Jacksonville — I’ll be back for sure.
