Very friendly good service and good food
Awesome BBQ!
Great quality for the value with phenomenal service.
The food was excellent as usual, but the waitress was terrible. Sat waiting for 20 minutes to place drink order, then another 10 minutes to get our drinks and place our order. When I was done eating, I had to walk my glass back to the back of the restaurant to ask for a refill since we hadn't seen our waitress since placing our order (the kitchen runner brought the food). Then we got our check and were told we'd get refills for the others at the table... Finally, 10 minutes later the refills came. Took well over an hour for lunch which wasn't the norm last time I ate there.
Met at the Lakewood Mojo’s for lunch on a Tuesday, with a group of 7, arrived at 11:30 am. Server was very friendly and welcoming. Lots of tables available and no wait even with us having a group of 7. Pros: delicious food, huge portions, great service, reasonable prices for the amount of food. Cons: only thing that was a negative was the noise level. The ceilings are high and open so noise was extra loud. We had 3 tables put together and it was really like 3 people had lunch together and the other 4 of us had lunch together. Too loud to hear from both ends.
Make sure to be hungry when you go or plan to take food home.
While the food itself is good all bbq sauces on the table have been watered down and the service is very slow. It’s as if they do not have enuf help. I always have to ask for a refill. Even when using the restroom the paper towels dispense with such a tiny sheet of paper u have to run ur hand back over the motion detector 10 times to get enuf paper towels to dry off. Seems they r cutting corners in several areas. And that’s what makes the rest as a whole seem like it’s gone down.
Good BBQ.

Very miss poor when you spend about $80 for take out and ask for condiments and you are told there in the bag. Of you get home and nothing in the bag. Call them to complain and you are put on hold forever. No more mojo.

Was seated write away and attended to quickly by our waitress, Stormy. The meal was very good and there were lots of choices on the menu. My wife chose the vegetarian platter and I had the pork shoulder meal.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices.

I tried to call and place an online order while driving and the most rude young guy answered the phone. I tried to keep calling back 3 times. Absolutely rude. It was on a Sunday afternoon.
Besides by far the best Barbeque in Jax, the manager Chris provided exemplary service to inhance my dining experience, I am handicapped Chris helped me with a problem outside in my car. My favorite sandwich is The Smitty- delicious . They pipe in the best southern blues- if you have not eaten there - it’s a must!
