Do not I repeat do not come to this restaurant. It’s poor business poor communication poor management. I came today expecting to order at 1pm which clearly states they don’t close until 3. When an employee from Spices states that if I had an online order to cancel it. I stated I don’t have one I’m placing and he said they are closed on the weekends. He stated that they keep changing their schedule around. No update to customers online or the business. This business is very unprofessional unreliable and I would never recommend doing business with them. You have been warned!

Super clean shop!! Very friendly staff. Smells absolutely DELICIOUS in there!! Absolute recommended!! 🥰
Love the waitstaff, love the quality of the food. The prices have gone up while the portions have gone down. New owner seems focused on pushing Monroe's out of the Edgewood location and only having Spices there. It's a shame as it was an all around high quality experience.

Really disappointed with the rib tips. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t order them again.The rib tips were terrible burnt, rock hard, and almost no meat on them. Felt like I paid for bones and charred leftovers. Very disappointing experience.

The food is good. My friends and I order from here quite a few times a week but that will be stopping they have raised the prices and the amount of food you get is smaller since the new owners have taken over im sorry $25.00 for a salad and a drink is a little much and the salad use to be big enough for 2 meals now it's not .

This restaurant has linked up with spices a Caribbean restaurant located on the Southside this has to be the greatest link up in history they have now formed Voltron I went to them on their grand opening in the evening I'm going to get it out the way the food is fantastic the only thing better than the food is the service spices has always had nice service whenever you go there if they get something wrong they go above and beyond to try to rectify the situation and I feel like in today's time that is a rare trait I will always and forever be a customer of spices and I am grateful that they put one on the west side I can't believe it this is a dream come true

Best BBQ in Jax! The onion rings are to die for. I really miss the one they closed on Beach Blvd so now we make the trip to the west side. Best brisket and burnt ends, my husband loves the turkey and collards. The staff is friendly, food comes out fast and there is plenty of it. Classic BBQ at it's best!
