Best tacos in jacksonville! The Mr Taco truck on Philips & University is the best. I'll go past the one closest to me to get tacos at that truck. Seriously, if you haven't tried it, you should.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Mr. Taco. I clearly ordered 3 chicken tacos and even confirmed it multiple times to avoid any confusion. Despite that, I was given steak tacos — which I don’t eat.
When I brought this to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering to fix it, the staff member was extremely rude and started shouting at me as if it was my fault. He showed no willingness to listen, no accountability, and treated me with complete disrespect.
I had no choice but to throw the food away in front of him — not because I wanted to, but because I simply couldn't eat it and was left with no alternative. As a paying customer, I expect at least basic courtesy and respect, especially when I’ve done nothing wrong.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Mistakes can happen, but the way customers are treated speaks volumes — and in this case there is no mistake from my side, it was completely unacceptable.
The chicken fajitas & quesadillas are amazing! But the refried beans…. MY GOODNESS I’m hooked.

My thanes I know it's been awhile but I have returned my journey for that meal worthy of Valhalla, today my travels have led me south of the border or a least south of my block lol I tip my axe to you my good peoples your tacos are delicious still, you made the highlight of my daughter's birthday thank you, to any and all though it may be on a very busy corner this truck is worth it's weight in gold.
I have been stationed in San Diego, CA, for the last 13 years. All the Mexican food I have had in Jacksonville has failed to compare to Mexican food in San Diego. All but this place. I have to say this had been the best Mexican food I have had in Jacksonville for the last two years. Definitely will be making this place a must stop for Mexican food.

Went here last night 12 tacos and a quesadilla $70 dollars outrageous! We did a over the phone order they don’t tell you how much it is. You go to pick up and refuse to pay that and the guy starts acting like he’s about to do something like he’s going to keep you from leaving. Bought a quesadilla just to be nice they hadn’t have even made the order to begin with. Do not go here just a bunch of thugs working here the location is quite dangerous as well seen fights here driving by since it’s right next to the liquor store. Place looks nasty anyways! Do not eat here if you plan on buying for your family just take your family out cause if you are over a family of three you will spend over $100. Outrageous and the quesadilla looks and tastes like something you can make yourself at home. No vayan aquí por favor 12 tacos y una quesadilla $70!!!! A y dile al tipo que no vas a pagar básicamente quería pelear conmigo. Yo soy militar llevo tiempo en el area hay muchos sitios mejores que este lugar! Y ni son limpios!
