Best tacos in jacksonville! The Mr Taco truck on Philips & University is the best. I'll go past the one closest to me to get tacos at that truck. Seriously, if you haven't tried it, you should.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Mr. Taco. I clearly ordered 3 chicken tacos and even confirmed it multiple times to avoid any confusion. Despite that, I was given steak tacos — which I don’t eat.
When I brought this to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering to fix it, the staff member was extremely rude and started shouting at me as if it was my fault. He showed no willingness to listen, no accountability, and treated me with complete disrespect.
I had no choice but to throw the food away in front of him — not because I wanted to, but because I simply couldn't eat it and was left with no alternative. As a paying customer, I expect at least basic courtesy and respect, especially when I’ve done nothing wrong.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Mistakes can happen, but the way customers are treated speaks volumes — and in this case there is no mistake from my side, it was completely unacceptable.

Be careful with the truck on beach blvd they tend to tip themself instead of letting us Tip them. I was wondering why every time I come I get the same thing but it’s always a different price till I started to pay attention that on one of my visits the guy asked me to tip but every other time I haven’t been asked and my same meal cost more than the time I tipped. I get 2 3-meal tacos for 15.50 taxes are 7.20 but my meal has been 49.00, 52.00, 58.00 like why is it different every time. So now I am keeping all my receipts with the same meal and I will be suing this food truck company!
My thanes I know it's been awhile but I have returned my journey for that meal worthy of Valhalla, today my travels have led me south of the border or a least south of my block lol I tip my axe to you my good peoples your tacos are delicious still, you made the highlight of my daughter's birthday thank you, to any and all though it may be on a very busy corner this truck is worth it's weight in gold.
Not dirt cheap, unassuming, damn delicious. Try the crema.

I have been stationed in San Diego, CA, for the last 13 years. All the Mexican food I have had in Jacksonville has failed to compare to Mexican food in San Diego. All but this place. I have to say this had been the best Mexican food I have had in Jacksonville for the last two years. Definitely will be making this place a must stop for Mexican food.
