Im from Washington DC, here in Jacksonville for work and Good BBQ (lol) and boy did i find it! Great Prices and Fantastic Food.

Wasn’t expecting much when I pulled up. I got the half rack of ribs w/ 2 sides, the pink lemonade, and a piece of red velvet cake. Everything was delicious, however the Mac n’ cheese could use a little more flavor. The ribs were extremely fresh and tender. If the Mac n Cheese had a little more going on this would for sure be 5 stars. The owner was also a really cool guy.

They definitely have someone up there heavenly. I have ordered 3 times and got the sane results each time. Oh, and that cake lol stay away from if you on a diet lol.

Wound up stuck in Jacksonville for over a week. Stopped while driving by and was hungry . If you forget thank Jesus for your food, you remember after one bite it was phenomenal!!! Had to go back before leaving back to Indiana one more time . Yum ! 😋🤤

I had an amazing experience with this barbecue and soul food spot. From the first bite, you can tell the food is made with love and real skill. The barbecue was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the soul food sides were seasoned perfectly not bland, not overpowering, just right. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, like real comfort food you don’t get everywhere anymore. The portions were generous, the food was hot and well prepared, and the overall quality was amazing. You can tell this is a business that truly cares about their craft and their customers. I’ll definitely be ordering again and recommending this place to friends and family. First of all when I got there it was 11:45 a.m. 15 minutes before they opened so I had to wait as the gentleman Mr Omar I believe asked me to do no problem, it was about 12:13 when I finally got service, so when he tells you he opens at 12:00 he really don't, he opens between 12:05 and 12:15 p.m. because he put out his sign while you're standing there waiting to order, his concern was with sign placement.
The next thing is the food was hot, food look good, my sister and I are connoisseurs of barbecue, we know that it was microwaved are bread was so very hard from being microwaved to death, the container was warped from being in the microwave so long, and that it was yesterday's barbecue which is the worst thing you can do for your customer and the first customer at that, not a good impression, it was yesterday's collard greens obvious it was yesterday's barbecue just put in a microwave and put sauce over them and give them to me which I did not like.just put in a microwave and put sauce over them and given to me which I did not like.
something told me to wait until about 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. I was going to try oh heavenly barbecue a couple of months ago but I just didn't have the time,
today January 5th 2025 11:45 a.m. my impression of the barbecue was bad , will try again on another day at a later time maybe the barbecue will be fresher and not microwave as I am going to request that no microwave. (the macaroni and cheese was delicious baked beans were delicious so was the potato salad).but the ribs no!!!! no no microwave no microwave no yesterday's barbecue especially when this is this particular customer first time at your business, they are your future new customers, will not go back anytime soon, and if I do it will be after 3:00 or 4:00 and hopefully someone else got the old barbecue (don't be the first customers or that is what you will get)and I will request no microwave please 🥺

Ribs and double greens for me please! Warm, spicy, and plenty of it. Food was delicious, staff are good guys who love the people and the food they feed them.

If you are looking for the best BBQ place in Jacksonville, this is it! The meat drips off the bone and is so delicious! The potato salad is top notch good! Homemade mac and cheese and on certain days the most delectable cakes that are moist and delicious! Plus a large enough portion that will fill you up! Don't go to other BBQ places because they don't compare to Oh So Heavenly BBQ! 10/10 WILL BE ALWAYS COMING BACK!
