PDQ Jacksonville: Beach & Hodges

We get pdq often, and it's usually very tasty, but whoever was working today 12/7/25 needs to do better. I always order the deluxe crispy chicken sandwich, add garlic parm, extra pickle, extra tomato, no pdq sauce, add mayo. The sandwich that arrived today was beyond disgusting, with one flimsy piece of lettuce, and no other veggies. It was not even crispy because it was soaked in the garlic parm, and the chicken tasted so nasty on the one small bite I tried. The entire box was covered in grease because it was so saturated in the garlic parm sauce and the sandwich it's self. The fries from both of our meals were cold and soggy which I totally understand happening with delivery but I will say that usually they are way better. Even the DR Pepper from The chicken tender meal was not normal, it tasted like a more watery version of a sparkling water, not soda. The chicken tenders that my boyfriend always gets were subpar at best, usually very crispy, they were soft and soggy. We usually always enjoy our weekly or bi weekly order to treat ourselves with convience and a little fast food cheat meal, but I don't think we will be back after this.

Hands down, when I tell you this, might just be my opinion, but 10/10 better than Zaxby's and Raising Cane's! Absolutely Delicious!

Staff is always helpful. Chicken and waffles are great. There's an outside sitting area. Water station to wash your hands ( not in the bathroom).

Until today, I had never visited a PDQ. I walked through the door and I was impressed. This store was immaculate. I have never seen a restaurant sterile clean in my entire life. Oh, and the shirts with the chicken on the back? That is one cool looking bird! The business is staffed with a crew down to earth “good vibes” people. They appeared to be content and happy to be there. What? Happy and content “good vibe” people who enjoy the workplace? What kind of sorcery is this? Great job! I like that!
