My first time ordering food from here. I ordered the Griot entree along with other sides. Food was great! I haven’t had this dish in years and I can’t wait to try the other entrees they offer. Definitely recommend.

Randevou Caribbean Bar & Grill offers delicious Haitian cuisine, featuring standout dishes like black rice with corn, goat stew, and griot. The restaurant is known for its generous portions and reportedly serves food that tastes even better the next day. While the service is often described as friendly and helpful, there have been some concerns about inconsistency in what is available. Customers have mentioned experiences where items they ordered were replaced with bagged salad without prior notice. The restaurant hosts special events like konpa night, which have received positive feedback for their great vibes and enjoyable atmosphere.
Recently, many have praised the food for its flavor and freshness. One customer highlighted the Tasso with Djon Djon rice, macaroni, cabbage, and plantains, noting that everything was hot and delicious even after a long drive home. Other dishes, like legumes with goat meat and rice and beans, have also been enjoyed for their authentic taste and perfect cooking. However, some customers have shared criticisms about specific items. Issues with the ordering system and missing requests, such as extra pikliz, have been noted, along with a lack of sauce for the oxtail, which some felt should be served with gravy.
Although some customers pointed out that certain aspects of the service could improve, the overall experience remains positive, with the energetic atmosphere and flavorful dishes like curry chicken, tasso, and diri djon djon being particularly praised. With ample parking, Randevou is worth a visit for anyone craving authentic Caribbean food in Jacksonville.
