Great Soul Food! Like home cooked meal. Don't count calories. Lot of fat in some items. But that's what makes it good. Especially oxtails. Excellent when cooked right and tender.
Solid value and very good food. Generous senior discount of 20% on weekdays is added bonus. They could possibly pick up the speed a little during lunch rush...otherwise no complaints.
Edit: 12/13/24 I've been here 15-20 times over lthe ast 5-6 years and it's always been a solid choice, however I have to say it's fell off a bit. Fried chicken was dried out, overcooked and probably a day old this time. The mac-n-cheese, carrots and cornbread were very good....

The food was excellent but the line took a long time. Just don't go in there during busy hours and be in a rush because you will have to wait! The food is worth the wait though lol
