I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Springfield Scoop, all thanks to Big Rick (not the little one)! The ice cream was out of this world, and the customer service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Shirlyn and Katie for their amazing help as well. I'll definitely be back for more delicious treats and excellent service!

Finally got a chance to try this cute little ice cream shop in Springfield. I went for a treat after work and really enjoyed their cookies and cream scoop with waffle chips. They were very welcoming during my visit and the place is absolutely adorable!

Now I don't like giving bad reviews, especially when my experience was bad due to the staff and not really the product, but when purchasing a meal I'm paying for good service. I get it was 5 minutes before closing but we wanted a snack and figured we would try something new, so my wife orders a shake and was told the milkshake machine was broken, near up was no waffles either, you guessed it, that machine was broken also. I love banana splits so I was happy no machine was nessasarry for that but was told they were out of bananas. Bottom line Is the staff cleaned up already and wanted to close and I get it, I worked in good service for many years but if the customer comes in at one minute to closing its my job to make sure they leave happy. If they didnt want to serve what was on the menu than we should have been told they were closed. But then again it lived up to its name, because all we could get was a couple $5 scoops. I just got to spend $10 for each of us to get a scoop of ice cream and a 10cent cone, which was good had that been what I went there for, so I guess I'll just stick to Dreamette Ice Cream for now on.

Springfield Scoops Milkshake Machine is never is Broke or down For Maintenance cause they make each one by hand! Great Service Beautiful, Ladies and Ice Cream Milkshakes with whip cream and a Cherry on top for my Mom Shirley Davis & Aunt Johnnie Mae. ❤️
The older woman who works there has the nastiest attitude I've ever seen!I brought my 3 little cousins in there for the first time in August the day after their father died to try to take their mind off things while other family members made arrangements. The 9 year old was squirming in his chair waiting for icecream and the older woman shouted at him very harshly. Okay sure, the 9 year old should be sitting perfectly still and quiet, I guess. I let it go. But then another young family came in with a baby and a toddler - the toddler was very rambunctious. I'm not even sure if they ended up getting icecream or not, but as they left I saw the older woman roll her eyes as if she was so annoyed!! At that point I thought, if you hate kids so much, why are you working in an icecream shop??I see the owner likes to be confrontational and take 0 accountability in the reviews instead of being receptive at all - which is hilarious and only confirms the lack of professionalism. ESPECIALLY when it comes to this specific employee. Don't believe me? Click on the lowest rating and see what everyone else says about this woman. But I'm sure they're all wrong ?The young woman who rang us up was very pleasant and seemed to be trying to overcompensate for her blatantly rude coworker.

My daughter loves icecream... especially as an after school treat. We passed this place last week and decided to come here today. I would of prefer more nuts than dusting of nuts. But, overall we enjoyed our icecream. It was delicious.Me: sundae; vanilla icecream, chocolate syrup, chopped nuts, whipped cream, and maraschino cherryMy daughter: caramel swirl with miniature marshmallowsWe will be back!

The ice cream was wonderful ! The waffle cones are made to order. The serving size was great, and even during Porchfest, the service was amazing! There was a DJ playing great music. Definitely a family friendly business. If you want a sweet treat, pay Springfield Scoops a visit!!!
