Ordered 3 chicken quesadillas. Got three flour tortillas minus the chicken. Place sucks...no consistency.

We got take-out so really can’t comment about the atmosphere but we had a somewhat difficult order (one order no onions, another no jalapeño peppers, etc.) and the tacos, taco salad and chimichanga were excellent.

The Mandarin location is my least favorite of the Tijuana Flats locations. Today the kegerator was broken, so no draft beer. No one checked in with me like they do at the Hodges location and I sat there for 20 minutes with an empty tray in front of me. Again, that never happens at other locations. Maybe they were understaffed, but this wasn't the first time the service was "less than." The food was ok, but the small queso wasn't thoroughly warmed and was too thick.

Stopped by to pick up a late lunch to go. Could see only one individual in the restaraunt (the order taker). Asked her some questions before ordering two chicken quesidillas. She either was unfamiliar with the menu or in a bad mood...but getting answers was difficult. Took two quesidillas home, ate one and saved one for later. That evening my stomach got very quesy and I had eaten nothing else since the quesidilla (and guac). Taking no chances, I threw the second quesidilla in the trash. Probably should have made home-made quesidillas instead.

I've always eaten your food, and I've always praised it a lot, but today, as I always do, I asked for it to be delivered to my house, and when I was halfway through the plate I came across a black hair in the middle of the food, unfortunately I wasn't expecting it! I ask you to check more, as one of these could lose customers and more customers. :(

Placed an order online that I thought was delivery, but it was pick up. So the food sat for 30 minutes. The manager offered to remake the food so it was hot. Top notch customer service.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the people make all the difference here. The manager came over and personally asked me and other diners if we were enjoying our experience. Another employee helped me to the table with my drinks and chips since I walk with a cane. Yet another employee helped me pick out the perfect sauce for my added kick to the meal. Customers can overlook a lot of stuff when there is a great employee presence. In this case, there really wasn't anything to overlook, but still... Bravo

I had to swing by the PetSmart to grab some food for my cat, so I told my husband I’ll grab some dinner for us while out. Tijuana Flats was right next door, so I decided to try it out for the first time.I’m only giving a 3rd star because the girls who took my to go order were very nice, and so was whom I’m assuming was the manager.I always check my food because I swear my husband always gets shafted on his stuff. Lol! He wanted the Megajuana wet burrito, so I checked the box that had his tag on it, and low and behold, it wasn’t wet! So I did ask them to fix, and they happily did. I got a regular burrito with beef, which was also tagged on the box. Also got some soft tacos with carnitas. When I get home, I told my husband I made sure his order was good! So, he dug into his food and realized they put my burrito in his box and his in mine, so my burrito ended up getting the wet sauce instead of his when they made the correction. Totally disappointed! Additionally, the burritos had so much rice, you could barely taste any of the other ingredients, might as well had been a rice burrito!! The carnitas tacos were just okay, I’m not a fan of places that don’t crisp their carnitas on the flat top and it was very bland, tasteless! They need to work on how they layer burritos, and you need to flavor and crisp your carnitas! You cant just boil and shred pork and call it carnitas. While I’d love to give a second chance and let them make it right, I just don’t think I’ll be doing so because their ingredients just aren’t that good. And I shouldn’t have to drown my food in one of their lovely sauces to make it taste good. Maybe that’s why they offer so many sauces ??♀️
