We got take-out so really can’t comment about the atmosphere but we had a somewhat difficult order (one order no onions, another no jalapeño peppers, etc.) and the tacos, taco salad and chimichanga were excellent.
The Mandarin location is my least favorite of the Tijuana Flats locations. Today the kegerator was broken, so no draft beer. No one checked in with me like they do at the Hodges location and I sat there for 20 minutes with an empty tray in front of me. Again, that never happens at other locations. Maybe they were understaffed, but this wasn't the first time the service was "less than." The food was ok, but the small queso wasn't thoroughly warmed and was too thick.
