“First time dining at The District SPR and it was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I had the best time for date night! Jojo was are bartender and he was friendly, knowledgeable and made some awesome drinks but just fantastic dude all around! If I could give him 20 stars I would! The food was a delight and the vibe was on point! My boyfriend had the sandwich special which was so big he couldn't even finish it! I had the flank steak with mash, and don't miss out on the Brussels and creme Brule for dessert. And now that I'm a local to the neighborhood they made me a vip! So look out I will be there all the time! Hands down best local food in Springfield!“
“WONDERFUL, new (to us) and charming Mediterranean restaurant in the trendy Five Points area of Jacksonville, FL. Welcoming staff, extensive menu, delicious food and a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be back... soon! ~Keith Martin, Boone, “
“Went here for the first time on Sunday for brunch with a friend. We had made reservations online and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was incredibly nice and went over the menu and specials in detail, explaining that they work with other local businesses and their food is always made fresh. We had a chocolate chip cherry bread to start and it was DELICIOUS! Both of us enjoyed our main entrees and drinks. Very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, fantastic & welcoming staff, scrumptious eats and great cocktail list. Will definitely be back!“
“I really enjoyed this spot! The menu is tiny so in my opinion, you don’t come here because you’re famished- you go to BB’s because you have an affinity for the cute and the quaint. It’s kind of like a place for “collectors”; it’s for people who need great ambiance. The dress is fairly casual but you’ll feel much more confident if you wear one of your trendiest outfits and your favorite fragrance. The clientele will notice and shower you with compliments when you do because they appreciate that you appreciate the vibe.If you are a foodie though, you’ll be thoroughly intrigued AND satisfied by the cake bar- so much to choose from! They have the absolute BEST BREAD PUDDING I’ve ever had in public… HANDS DOWN!!!They have creative (albeit fried) tapas that are quite reasonably priced as well as a small variety of salads in the $20 range. But again, come here for the ambiance and the bread pudding.“
“The welcome we received when we walked in determined that we would stay! Came on a recommendation from friends and really enjoyed our visit. Great environment to hang out in and learn about all of the products offered. Will come back again for sure! Thank you for a great night.“
“I had a nice experience at Kingdom Sushi. The food was good and had very unique fusion of Japanese - Brazilian. If you love sushi's then you will probably like this place. For appetizer we enjoyed the shimeji, gungga by kingdom, ceviche and the salmon carpaccio. The yakisoba and miso soup did not stand out. They were just okay. For the sushi's, my favorites were the chef maninho roll, djoy, California rolls. Most of the sushi were actually good. We also tried their temaki, sashimis and nigiris. Everything was good. For dessert we had ice cream sandwich and banana nutella roll. For the drinks we ordered Sake Lychee and Ichigo. Both were very refreshing. The ambiance was nice, there was a live acoustic music which is a plus for me. The servers were nice and friendly however the service was a bit slow. Also another reason why I gave this a four star was because the price of their All You Can Eat, its over priced compare to most other AYCE sushi places in town.“
“Been here a few times and have had a great experience each time. Between the service, the drinks and the bbq, everything was wonderful. Don’t pass up on the burnt ends appetizer, they’re amazing!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with coloring sheet and crayons.“
“I was intrigued to go here because of the wrestling themed drink menu.Good amount of beer on tap and lots of upscale drinks.Sat at the bar and service was okay with both bartenders.I had a Ricotta and Prosciutto Pizza and I was slightly disappointed. Good flavors and ingredients but the temp of the pizza was just barely above room temp. Slightly messy to eat due to being slightly undercooked.“
“Glad we stopped in here. Visited for the first time Saturday night and had a great experience. Reese was our waiter and we couldn't have asked for a better one.Very good at communicating with us throughout the night and was knowledgeable when it came to wine. Seems to really care about making the customers have a good experience.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.Thank you !“
“The vibe of Dos Gatos was really cool. It actually didn’t seem like it would have amazing cocktails. But boy was I pleasantly surprised! The bartender made great drinks and they had a really expensive menu with great drink options. The espresso martini had lots of foam and a great taste!“
“At Domu, I indulged in their renowned Domu wings—6 extra crispy wings coated with kimchi butter sauce and sesame seeds. Despite my usual aversion to kimchi, these wings were a revelation, easily ranking among the best I've ever had.The wings boasted a perfect crunch on the outside and tender meat inside. The kimchi butter sauce added a savory depth that surprised and delighted my taste buds.Domu's commitment to quality and creativity shines through in every dish, and their wings are no exception. Paired with the trendy yet inviting ambiance, it's a dining experience not to be missed. Whether you're a kimchi lover or not, Domu's wings are sure to leave a lasting impression.“
“Hello, I am Latin and the Latin night was spectacular... there was only one problem and that was that when I wanted to order my drinks no bartender decided to help me because they did not understand Spanish (something that seems incoherent to me with the Latin night) it is not possible to order drinks because when the bartenders don't understand Spanish they just turn around and ignore you all night... as a Latino not speaking English I had to turn to friends to get a drink because I felt totally ignored. My advice is to have at least one bilingual bartender. But everything was incredible.“
“I experienced superb service and great food at this smart downtown Jax restaurant. I arrived just after their 4pm opening. They were offering their happy hour menu which is more limited than their full menu, but has plenty of options. I enjoyed an ''Immunity Idol" cocktail during the brief wait for my food. My server was attentive and very knowledeable about the menu items. I had a burger and fries - it was a comfort food kind of afternoon for me - and will go back soon to try other menu items soon.“
“Nice bar. Seems like most everyone in there were locals. They had 2 pool tables. Music going. Some of the bartenders need to go back through school. And if you go have the guy or the brunette make your drink. The blonde couldn't even make a drink right looking at the recipes. She tried 2 times and finally I had the brunette make it.“
“Absolutely outstanding service from the exceptional bartenders, Calley and Christian, who effortlessly went above and beyond. Their remarkable attention to detail was truly remarkable and a rare gem in the hospitality industry! I am eagerly looking forward to returning for another delightful experience! BONUS for UFC playing!!!“
“Uptown Kitchen and Bar was chef’s kiss?. I FULLY recommend this establishment!!! Your belly will thank you. :) The atmosphere was very homey and inviting, the food was amazing and the portions were shareable. The only things is, you are NOT going to want to share a morsel with . I definitely recommend!!!“
“This was my first time eating here after many years. The flavor of the food was very good but the portions were very, very small. I do intend to eat here again because of the great flavor but I will make sure I order a larger meal or an appetizer because I was still hungry when I left.“
“Root down is always great with silent disco & we had lots of fun. I will say that the calculated gratuity options starting at 30% on the iPads is alittle sneaky considering bartenders aren’t even shaking cocktails. After a couple drinks there’s no way I’m able to personally calculate my own 20% tip, especially with a busy bartender staring into my soul.“
“We had an amazing experience at Blue Bamboo! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and the food was delicious! There were lots of vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, general tso’s cauliflower, dragon whiskers, and veggie jai tofu. Everything was fantastic and came out right on time.“
“Late night spot to shoot dollar games of pool with your friends or new friends you meet up there same people have been going there for 20 years super friendly very trustworthy place . A must place to try great music and you can play whatever song youd like aswell.“
“Overall this hidden speakeasy is amazing! Its hidden store front with the "JAX POST" vibe is cool. I've been here a few times for the Bartenders Brawl but never on a regular night. Total for the 2 hours while I was here there was a max of 20 people in the establishment. Its cool it see this "speakeasy" bar not crowded with people and and be able to "observe" it in its "natural" environment. The bar design was an interesting, the concept it reminded me of a "Thrust" or "Runway" style stage. Im theater terms this allows the performers in this case the bartender with a greater interaction with the audience or customer in this case To my knowledge during the week they only have one Bartender on staff compared to the weekend aka Friday and Sat. This unique concept allows individual attention and space (during covid) but still flourishes on the weekends during the busiest time. I should have written a review in 2017 when I was introduced to this amazing establishment via a former F & B industry coworker.“
“This restaurant is amazing and the servers are very professional. I had a work meeting here, and my boss asked for the gluten-free menu( I have Celiac) . They had a separate menu, and they cooked everything separate , with no cross contamination. The manager came and talked to me and read the gluten-free menu for me. She was very smart and careful. The food was wonderful, and the cream brulee was so yummy. I didn't get sick at all. ?Dietary restrictions: GLUTEN FREE MENU“
“First time here they experience so good. when you first walk in. Open space and unique layout. I went for brunch we got the fish and grits which was mind blowing good and chicken and waffles which where so soft and the chicken season. There was a DJ there also. They have a cute backyard area and patio area. Rachel was my server and she was so great. Very friendly and attentive.“
“-Beautiful interior with acoustics kept in mind -Solid wine list & well crafted cocktail menu -Food was exceptional. Head on shrimp appetizer was amazing, so perfectly cooked the shell seemed to dissolve on the tongue. The sauce it was served with had just enough salt, acid, & spices to compliment the shrimp but not overpower it. Was hesitant to order a burger at a seafood restaurant and I was humbly incorrect. First bite deceived me as the char was a bit strong on its own, but the second bite when everything (the sauce, fresh pickle, buttery bun, the onions, wood fired waygu & cheeses (Gouda & Brie)) all came together to work some magic on the burger. Our table got all three desserts, they were solid. But the key lime pie was the star of that show. Best one I have had in some time! Our server Jason was already well versed with the ins & outs of the menu and was cool & calm on the second night of service.“
“Ordered biryani and curry to go. First, when you enter the smell of cooking spices meets you, then the friendly staff welcomed me and answered my questions about the menu. Then, when I got home, the food was fantastic. My new favorite Indian food in JAX. I was amused that when I ordered the second style Biryani (for me) they seemed cautious when I expressed my desire for more spicy than the rest of my order. (it was chicken 65 biryani, it would be a crime to ask for mild wouldn't it?) Everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back and try food straight from the kitchen. Our entire order was for Chicken65 Biryani, Lamb Biryani, and Bagara Baingan. We also had extra raita.“
“This place was absolutely my vibe. It was a small bar with a long bar top, plenty of televisions to watch football on. They had great mystic playing, it was not crowded, and the bartender was funny and attentive. There is nothing I love more in a bar than televisions and funny employees. Not sure if they had food since I wasn't particularly looking to eat while I was here.“
“We get to the Grape & Grain occasionally when we want a different environment for drinks. You have 2 different areas to enjoy drinks, which is great. What we like most are the experience mixologist (not sure if that is really the proper term, but they are definitely more then your average bartender). You simply describe to them what you like; alcohol, flavors, etc and most of them can create the most awesome unique and delicious drinks. A great place to visit for sure.“
“Went to the Parlour a couple months ago when they had a jazz night event. It was such a lovely experience. They make great cocktails (and mocktails). The ambiance was really nice. I enjoyed the dimmed lighting and the velvet couch. Definitely a little gem.“
“I love that this place is right around the corner from my house. I used to avoid it b/c there was an individual working there that I didn't care for, but once I heard that this person was no longer there I knew we had to stop by and have a few drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve food. We sampled a few different items that day and I don't really recall all of them, but I do remember the empanadas...they were fantastic! I would definitely order those again. All and all this place is great. Locally owned, which I love to support. And has a pretty good staff of people working there now as well.“
“This bar has a cool local vibe that's welcoming to visitors too. We came into town and happened to catch live music by the band Blistur. They were off the charts as well as all of the great staff. Special shout out to Mike for helping us with a lost phone. Highly recommend this place for hanging with friends. Great energy!“
“More or less like a rooftop restaurant. Food is pretty good. Got the trio dipper and tacos. If you’re hungry, get the quesadilla or burrito. You only received two tacos. Nothing else with it. the people I went with got the quesadilla and burrito and couldn’t finish it. The portion sizes were big.“
“Got to know the owner over the past few years, definitely business minded and customer service based. He truly cares for his establishment and does everything he can to provide a fun and comfortable experience. They have no problem with you bringing in some food and in fact might have a food truck or front to service your late night munchies. All in all 5 stars for the atmosphere, staff and patrons.“
“The Bartenders are awesome. My car had just got stolen and I was on way to the Hospital ER. When I got out of the ER my car was outside waiting on me and I only had one drink. Five stars for food. Can only imagine if I ate,Parking: I walked the bridge, jumped it, crossed the tracks, got thirsty.“
“Angelica is our favorite server!!! The only server we request time and time again. She is professional and friendly and the reason we visit this location twice a week!!! She knows our order without having to ask. It’s nice to receive that 5 star service!!!!“
“First time at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar. Food was great. Jean was amazing. She took care of us. Her professional was beyond top notch. She was a lot of fun. Kept us smiling. Jean made sure we were comfortable. The drinks were so good. Thanks Jean for the pina colado cake. Beyond yummy. Oh and this martini!“
