If I stand up to take my trash to the can, he takes it for me. If I go to get a box, he’s already bringing one to the table.

“Was out with friends and we decided to try this place. Hadn’t been here before, but we liked the atmosphere with the outdoor patio and all. We ordered several different dishes so we could try a little of everything, and I have to say, everything was wonderful! Food was hot and yummy, the frozen margaritas were DOUBLE yummy, lol, and the cute waiter was fast and friendly. The only drawback was some screaming customer. Guess she got the wrong food, and she started yelling at the waiter. He apologized and said he would take care of it, but then she asked for the owner to come out and she yelled at her too! There’s always one, right? Think she was angling for a free meal. Anyway, we didn’t let it ruin our good time, and we WILL go back and eat there again! 😁“

“I have looked all over Jacksonville for good papusas, and have tried 4-5 other places first. Maria’s has THE BEST papusas in Jacksonville!! Any time I want papusas, I go here. My favorite are the chicharron y queso. They are always so hot, so fresh, so gooey and fat. They are never flat. They have the best flavor! If you want papusas, that taste just like Ma made them, you have to go here! It brings me back to my childhood every time. So perfect!“
