“Amazing evening out. Everyone was so friendly as you entered the restaurant. It started with one of the best pomegranate martinis I ever had. Our server Jessica was excellent and all the servers that came to the table paid attention to detail. The most impressive part of the evening was the impeccable style of chef Justin. We had the 6 courses chef’s adventure tasting menu and I cannot say enough about the cuisine. The harmony of flavors and the mastery of technique with the plating presentation was magnificent. The chef came to the table to explain each plate that was presented. He’s very knowledgeable regarding the dishes he prepares and you could see his personality come through in the way the dishes were plated and the flavors that came through with each plate. With the cuisine Justin is preparing this restaurant could be a Michelin star restaurant in notime. By the way I am gluten free so the chef had to make changes to my dishes only. I cannot say enough on how much we enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely be visiting Matthew’s again.“

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! “Went to Mandola’s yesterday for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super friendly. The food was amazing! Branden the manager was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a piece of the chocolate cake and some gelato which was absolutely delicious! “Relaxing and peaceful views here! When I come here, I only dine outside in the back facing the ocean. Personally, I enjoy coming here during the week (during the week they’re only open Wednesday through Friday 7am to 11am) because it’s typically never crowded and I enjoy the peace and tranquility that come with the amazing views and ocean breeze. The menu items are very good quality and reasonably priced. My only reason for docking a star on my review is because they’re booked quite frequently (usually majority of the restaurant is reserved), service is not the fastest (however, the managing owner Carol is kind and amiable), and on numerous occasions they don’t answer the phone so it’s difficult to plan breakfast or brunch when they don’t answer the phone and on several occasions, I’ve had to be turned away on a empty hungry stomach which isn’t a good feeling. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you have the opportunity. My personal recommendations are the mimosas (get the bottomless jug) and the blue crabomelette.“

“Easily one of my best dining experiences in Jacksonville. Food and service were incredible. I've been in Jax a long time and I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. The dry-age steak was perfect and the lobster crab cake was top tier. The manager greeted us and Mitoki made sure we had a great time our dinner date! Oh, and the cheesecake is amazing.“

The only reason I’m giving this location four stars rather than five is the apparent lack of enforcement of the restaurant’s dress code. There is a dress code posted at the hostess stand, yet throughout the evening I noticed guests wearing shorts, hoodies, sagging pants, athletic shoes, flip-flops, and club attire.

Having dined at other Ruth’s Chris locations, I was surprised by how relaxed the standards seemed to be here. Part of what makes dining at Ruth’s Chris special is the elevated atmosphere, and I believe enforcing the stated dress code helps preserve that experience.

When spending roughly $300+ on dinner in a setting with fine linens, a full table setting, and premium service, I expect the surrounding atmosphere to reflect that same level of quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening, but more consistent dress code enforcement would have made the experience feel much more aligned with the Ruth’s Chris brand.“

“In general they have good food but their burgers they dried them out even when they say medium rare it’s still well done and dry. I ordered medium ones, and it was burnt that even my kids didn’t want to eat it because it was bitter. Their steaks are good, chili is good, tortilla soup is very good. Their flounder sandwich is really good. Coleslaw sometimes is good and sometimes dry.“
