“I’ve now been to two of Jax’s Brazilian Steakhouses (twice to Terra Gaucha and once to Fogo out at Town Center) and I can say with absolute certainty I prefer Terra Gaucha. Not only is the food phenomenal (as one might expect) and the drinks sublime (I recommend a caipiroska, personally), but the service is absolutely top notch. Watching the various servers and waitstaff moving around the dining space is like watching a choreographed beehive; no one stands idle, and no one is above helping with the little tasks (clearing tables, topping off water, replacing plates). I couldn’t possibly capture each of the names of the people who helped make it a fantastic night even on my best day, but two stand out: Jessica (our server) had the absolute best disposition, and Iskender (a manager) was so attentive to everything it seemed he knew we were looking for something even before we did. I specifically chose Terra Gaucha for a personal celebration because they make the best caipiroskas in town, but I am heartened and incredibly grateful to have received the best service I would never think to ask for. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating (that allergen list is a beauty!), and so completely pleasant to interact with, that Terra Gaucha will come first to mind for all future celebrations!Dietary restrictions: If you ask they will provide a thorough list of all items with major dietary and allergen concerns (dairy, shellfish, fin fish, seeds, soy, garlic, onion, and nuts are what I recall offhand, though I remember others listed) that they’ll leave at your table so you can refer to it as needed. This includes both the rodizio items circulating in the dining room, the salad bar, and the dessert options.“
“We were late for our reservations due to traffic and the line for valet so leave early and if you’re late call. Tara was our server and she was wonderful. The Gancia Moscato d’Asti was so delicious and so were the scallops. The Brussel sprouts with the bourbon bacon jam is really good. I’m not a fan of pimento cheese but the Mac n cheese was surprisingly delicious. The mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection. The lamb chops were very tender, the lobster tail and salmon were good. Definitely would come back.“

We just got back (11:00 am) today from trying one last time and, while the EBT STILL wasn't available, AND all the rib eyes were sold out, Rob STILL made it an experience that we feel is absolutely worth every dollar we spent this morning. “This location on San Jose is always fast (once you get a table). Of course you will have to wait to be seated during peak hours. Hubby likes the Aussue chicken or prime rib. My kids love the Outback special and I enjoy the filet. No visit is complete without sharing the Diet Sabotaging cheese fries.“

“We love this restaurant. Longhorn has some great deals for lunch, and the steaks are amazing. We regularly come during lunch time and all of the ladies working do a really great job. They are always busy for the most part but make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious. This location is probably my favorite chain restaurant in all of Jax. “My daughter and I had an amazing evening at Outback. The food was hot, delicious and came out very quick. Our server Tammy had us laughing from the time she was at our table, till we left out the front door. Tammy was quick witted, very attentive and relatable. This made our evening. We asked for the manager just so we could tell her how much we enjoyed the evening and the food. Kat (the manager) was just as awesome as Tammy. Thank you Tammy for making our evening. Extremely attentive, asked all the right questions, gave us sooo many sauces (we're sauce people, so this was a big plus), paid attention to our 3 year old son by asking him questions and including him. “Excellent food, we really enjoyed it.We both had the petite filet mignon, lobster and shrimp bisque.The soup was perfectly flavored, the shrimp and lobster were delicious and not overcooked.The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, inside was medium rare and the broiled Brussels Sprouts had a light sauce on them that really brought out the flavor, rather than covering it up as with a cheese sauce.Service was prompt. We ate in the bar and the bar tender was attentive and friendly.The sangrias were also wonderful.“
“We went because it was a special day for us. Texas Roadhouse is beautifully set up with nice accoutrements and the waiters were attentive and outstanding. Will definitely go again. The steaks were out of this world. Mid-range expensive but well worth the trip.“
“I've been to 5 different hibachi restaurants in Jacksonville. Their cooks and show is absolutely the best. The food is always perfectly cooked. The staff is outstanding and makes you feel valued. This is why I keep going back!Dietary restrictions: They are very cooperative when asking for accommodations to dietary restrictions and also for our little picky eater.Kid-friendliness: The cooks always take my young daughters into account. They are gentle on her with the flames, not to over do it and scare her, but also interact with her and the other guests to make everyone feel welcome and part of the dinner. I LOVE their cooks. We've had 3 different ones on multiple occasions. The one with the boombox coming out always makes for a nice laugh. Sometimes its nice seeing them at the other tables while eating soup/taking orders or finishing up our meals. Great experience!“

I always get greeted with professionalism like Janellee the bar tender. We celebrated our wedding anniversary on Monday and planned to go out to eat on Saturday but once the time came to get ready we're just to exhausted. So we decided to get take out. “I was feeling like having a healthier lunch, so we decided on Outback. Greeted and seated promptly for lunch. Our very pleasant server introduced himself quickly, offering us drinks and menus. We both decided to try the pick 3 offer. I upgraded my steak to an 8 oz, with veggies and Cesar salad. While my rother decided on the steak and shrimp and chili. We were served bread and butter promptly. 7 minutes later, Our entrees arrived. The steaks were cooked exactly as asked. They were juicy and full of flavor. My Caesar salad was crisp, fresh, cold, and tasty. The Chili was warm and delicious with a very minimal touch of heat. Our server checked on us multiple times and was quick to clear our table as we finished. We decided to hang around and kill sometime before our flight, so we stayed and talk for about 45 minutes after eating. We were never made feel as if we had to leave or unwelcome after we finished our meal. The pick 3 meal also included a slice of cheesecake but we both opted out. I mentioned to serve it to anyone else in the restaurant but I never saw that happen. Not saying that it didn't but I sat facing the kitchen and that cheesecake never came out from my view. Overall. “Their cilantro-grilled chicken was an absolute melt-in-your mouth delicacy doused with cheese sauce and topped with onion rings. They have changed their menu and Parmesan crusted chicken is the next best alternative. Onion rings are another firecracker! The potato side dishes come in huge portions. The side of vegetable medley is cooked perfectly. Port mushrooms are my favorite side dish to order. Chicken pasta as well as T-bone steak are decent sized food portions. Filet mignon is usually prepared quite rare in the middle. Grilled salmon flakes beautifully.Dietary restrictions: Limited veggie options.“

Ribeye grilled to perfection. Grilled chick/strawberry/pecan salad is always THE BEST. YAY! for the cheesecake drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with pecans!!
