“I found this place via a video where they were trying to determine the best burger in JAX. I don't know if this is the best, because there are probably hundreds I haven't tried, but I can say that it was EXCELLENT. I am so glad to see a place of this stature open in Arlington area. This place has dozens of craft beers to choose from, and if the rest of the menu is anywhere close to the quality of this burger, the food is great.“

They recently got rid of their board games that they had for customers to play, which is the only (small) negative. Great beer, dog friendly, and they even have a military discount. And you can even spot local politicians / local celebrities in here having a brew occasionally!“

I imagine as a bartender on a busy night minding that would be annoying since it got tangled up a few times where the pins didn’t reset. I believe she is. The owner, greeted us very pleasantly... We ordered three fried chicken beans and rice plates & two banana colas... We were the only customers at that time. So the place was empty. Her attitude was quite friendly and refreshing. The atmosphere What's pleasant? The food was amazing. The chicken, even though it looked dried out. Trust me, when I tell you. It was very juicy & well-seasoned... The coleslaw. Was amazing. I wish I could have had a lot more than that. L o l I started to go back and ask her to do me a pint of it... Sometimes you have to get out and explore your neighborhood. The food reminds me of straight-home cooking, which is refreshing. That means a lot coming for me. I don't eat out because I am very picky. We'll be paying, Ms. Gina. A visit again... So if you guys are ever on the west side of Jacksonville, go check her out, you won't be disappointed... For 3 plates & two banana colas plus tip..it was $43“

“Currently my favorite bar in Jacksonville because of three things: great live music, they host fiddle tune and gypsy jazz jam sessions, and great German beer.“

“Overall: A great stop for some pre or post game food and drinks.

The good: Came prior to a football game and even though the place was packed, the food and drinks were handled efficiently. The order line took 5-10 minutes to get through, but once we ordered the drinks were immediate and the food was delivered in 10-15 minutes or so (which was impressive given the amount of people there). Plenty of drink options and the food was pretty good overall, as long as you go in with the right bar-food expectations.

The not-so-good: Very crowded, but that added to the fun pregame vibes. That said, we were lucky to get a table. Parking is obviously a hassle (and pricey), especially during game days.
