“My father and I come here for lunch all the time. We always get the vegetarian bowl without cheese and we added roasted pumpkin seeds. It is a great amount of food. We definitely never leave hungry. As a vegan. I love it that they have incredible flavors available. I highly recommend them.“
“Loved all the the different dishes I had. Mayors shrimp is off menu, but a must. Ask chef about it. Amazing!! Chips and queso bites were great. They have Gigantic quesadillas!!! I had the steak! All the sauces were perfectly matched. And this churro cheesecake was magnificent!! 10/10 “
“Always a great meal and time. We pass a few other Mexican restaurants on the way here but this is our ‘go to’ spot. They always keep you stocked w chips and salsa which I appreciate. Tons of choices on the menu and the servings are plentiful. Everything is made scratch except the chips. Staff is very attentive without being overbearing. Place can get busy but you never feel too crowded and we’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. Overall it’s just a great place to go to get a healthy portion of really good food at a fair price. We’ll be back next week.“
“This is THE best authentic Mexican food I have ever had! The food is always fresh and delicious. The salsa—-I could literally eat the chips and salsa as a meal. Guacamole is also delish! I could write pages about how great they are! My husband and I eat there at least once a week and have taken all our friends to experience the awesome food! They also have fried chicken, fried fish, wings, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, soup, salad bar, scrumptious desserts! Go try it!“
“It was my first time at CHuy's yesterday and Ivan was our serveer. He was very attentive, knew the menu so well and went above and beyond! I got to smaple the sauces and even let him choose my dinner, and he did not disappoint! He made our dining expereience fun and relaxing. I highly recommend eating here and asking for Ivan! Thank you Ivan! I will be back to see you again!“
“A great place to eat!! My lady friend and I wanted to try something local instead of driving out to the Orange Park area. We stopped in and checked it out this small local restaurant. El Jefe was about three quarters full so that said something to me right away. The order was taken quickly by Jessenia. The food was delicious and came out of the kitchen at just the right temperature. The prices were good for the amount of food that you receive. I enjoyed the Pollo bowl, and my friend enjoyed a plate of tasty quesadillas. We will be back. Thank you for a great meal.“
“This is an amazing place to have Mexican food. They serve really crispy nachos and tomato salsa. The tacos were amazing and was the fajita. We might become a regular to this place. Do remember that they don’t accept Apple Pay, so you must have your card that is the only option apart from cash, of course.“
“The people were wonderful! They worked with us (2 adults and 3 kiddos). Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and well cooked as we asked. Only thing was there was no trashcan outside. We needed to throw out a few things and didn't see any outside the restaurant.“
“I am from Tucson, Arizona which has just been voted number one as a city for having fantastic Mexican food. Tucson is very close to the border of Mexico and the Mexican food is exquisite. I have gone to many Mexican restaurants here, because I miss the food so much, and nothing tastes like Sonoran Mexican food as La Nopalera does. I went to lunch the other day and my server was a man by the name of Oscar. The food was beyond perfect, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the ambiance was wonderful! I loved every second of my lunch and my visit to this restaurant and will go back again and again. This is true Sonoran-style Mexican food!!! Thank you, Oscar, and La Nopalera!!!“
“My first time there. I was greeted as I came in. The server/cashier was upbeat and personable. She walked me through the menu options and gave me time to make a decision. She took my order and I found a table. The dining room was very clean. My server brought out my food and made sure I had everything I needed. Throughout my stay she would come and check back in to see if I needed anything. The portion was very big (burrito)and came with tortilla chips. I got the combo, which came with a drink and a side. My side was their guacamole. The burrito was delicious. It had the right balance of ingredients. The guacamole was superb; It tasted freshly made. The Chips were crisp and didn't taste greasy.Overall a very pleasant experience. I'll definitely be eating there again (and again).Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“Went out to dinner with the family and this place was amazing. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. Everyone was great but our waitress Cheyenne was absolutely amazing, very professional and super skilled at her job. We had a really larger order & she got it right from memory with no problem! We truly enjoyed our food and service.“
“Last year we started going back to Chili's after having not been in a long time. This location on Atlantic Blvd. is great. Food is always tasty and the people working there are always friendly. Special shout out to Heather and Ava who always make our dinner special with their friendliness and great service.“
“Really great casual lunch spot. They have a variety of options on the menu that are vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan friendly, and they allow you to customize your order. The food came out hot and fresh, and was very filling. I customized the Blackened shrimp burrito and I could taste the quality ingredients they used and how exceptionally flavorful it was. The interior is very clean as were the bathrooms. It gets very busy- they open at 11 and the noon lunch crowd gathered quickly. There is 2 hour street parking directly across the restaurant.“
“I wish I took pictures! Everything was delicious. Between my husband and I we swapped a lot of things, so I lose track of what we actually ordered. But I can say that the food was great. The service was OK. Not great. Ambience was as expected for a Tijuana Flats.“
“If I had to rate this Mexican inspired restaurant, it would most certainly have to be " just right."It is very good fast type of food. I enjoyed the Shrimp Quesadilla which is aptly described as, just right. It's a good restaurant, but despite things being right I did sense some wrong.Menu location for one, " and don't I just feel great looking around for a menu."Customer service is a hard field I get that, it's hard to please all the customers all of the time. There is no internet wi fi at Tijuana Flats, isn't that cellphone just a needed, if not integral part of the dining experience? They do have an extensive condiment area but I'd question whether it's clearly marked and it's actual use, sort of like the menu argument (see above). The portions are good but they are measured and sensible, or "just right."I'm actually surprised there aren't more collisions here between the staff and the patrons trying to navigate through a somewhat tight space, like when I was trying to return my dirty dishes and questioning, "where to go?"It's almost like to really enjoy Tijuana Flats you'd need to go there several times to get the flow of the Mexican inspired direction. ?Perhaps this is done on purpose. Not much to update. It's hard to get beyond average with the competition that is available.“
“Food was really flavorful and fresh. Fair prices and portions. Kind of a long wait, but it was worth it for the taste. The restaurant is tucked into a shopping center with mostly eateries on Bowden, which is right off of University Blvd. You can dine in or take it to go.“
“Omg I love this place (Lola’s) I’ve been coming here for years and the service has never disappointed. I had a new server today Laine which was a pleasure. She was very attentive and fast with my order today. I can’t wait to come back. She made my experience so special today. Thank youParking: Na“
