It’s a very niche place. The people are always attentive and no matter how busy they are. They’re very interactive with you. I’ve been here multiple times. Chicago cart is my go to and a root beer float after a swim.

“Found King Subs on FB and ventured in to find a CLEAN, beautifully decorated little family owned sub shop. They didn't HAVE to decorate so nicely, but they did anyway - and that shows that they take pride in their appearance and their customer's first impression. My 12" Pastrami w/ provolone sub was 5 stars. (My co-worker was even jealous when he saw it! LOL) Great value for the money and I got two meals out of it. I LOVE that they use Boar's Head meats. Forgot to take a pic, but will next time. And there will definitely be a next time. 😋😋“

The pierogis were just like home and like a true taste of my childhood. The salad and bread was as fresh as can be! The borscht was amazing just like we like it! We can’t wait to go back to sit and experience everything they have to offer! Victoria and the whole team is so awesome and accommodating providing incredible service and authentic fresh food! Our server was a wonderful young man named Will who was attentive, kind, and interacted with everyone (so refreshing in this era)! He will be requested for our next visit. “My wife and I had a wonderful experience when we visited the restaurant in Alton. The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. “I normally like butter chicken, but I saw the chicken tikka masala was rated number two most ordered on their website so I got that and the garlic naan! And my God it was so good!
