“As a local realtor, entrepreneur, and mom of three kids, I’m always on the lookout for spots that feel both welcoming and special and Drift is hands down one of my favorites in Palm Beach!

Whenever we’re walking around Palm Beach or going to the beach as a family, this cozy little café is a must-stop. It’s definitely a tiny space, but that’s part of its charm…it feels intimate, vibrant, and full of personality. On weekends it gets super crowded, which honestly just adds to the energy. The vibe is absolutely beautiful, with wonderful people all around and such a positive atmosphere.

If you’re a coffee lover, this is the perfect spot; especially if you appreciate a really good espresso. Their pastries (grandma’s coffee cake and their banana bread) and food options are also delicious and thoughtfully curated. Everything just feels elevated but still relaxed.

One of the things I love most is the overall aesthetic. The décor gives off strong beachy, surfing vibes, with gorgeous natural light that makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. Even the little plaza it’s in adds to the experience…there’s a tiny terrace outside that somehow completes the whole laid-back, local feel.

And the staff? Always super friendly and welcoming. Every visit has been a great experience.

But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon’s and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon’s) to wait on people! So it’s difficult to give people much attention when you’re stretched so thin.We came back after 7 to have dinner. They don’t open until 5pm.I ordered the shrimp “handy”. It’s tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey!My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn’t.Then we shared the sashimi platter. It’s 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo.I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert.A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.“

“We went to dinner late and what's not better than a taco bar, a tequila bar! We had guacamole made at our table. Alice did a fine job picking out the right avocados. It was blended to perfection. The cerviche had pomegranate seeds that added just the burst of flavor to pop out the irresistible blend of the dish. The mochajete was served sizzling with 2 hot sauces that were to die for, habenero and Chipotle. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

“My first experience dining here, read the reviews and they sounded good so decided to book a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant had to park four blocks away parking is atrocious. The hostess was busy talking on her phone, never a good sign. Sat down finally, decided on an appetizer and some entrees the waiter came back and said they were out of the appetizer, started off bad. Very limited fish dishes, ordered a steak dish and a fish dish,nothing spectacular and it was tough we did not say anything to the waiter the whole situation from beginning to end a total disappointment, couldn't wait to leave, actually felt nauseated after leaving after eating my fish with risotto, it was so greasy. Very loud place hard to have a conversation.I don't know what the hype is about this place because the prices do not match the food quality or the presentation. Would not recommend nor would I go back ever. The whole vibe was uninspiring and the atmosphere was just not a good experience or fun. I guess if you're a drinker this place might be fun but if you're not it makes waiting for your entree for 45 minutes more excruciating, was not impressed about anything about this place and I wanted to be. Note to manager find a Hostess that seems like she's interested in seating people and not talking on the phone. I could honestly say I had better food at the gas station on the way into town, the homemade empanadas there were amazing. All I can say to people is beware of reviews you'll get burned I know I have on several occasions. I've run into people who absolutely love this place while I've been in town, wish I could say the same. maybe I was there on an off night but waiting 45 minutes for an entree when three of their tables were seated and served before I was seemed a little strange. the wait staff seem tired and uninspired.“

The Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies have the authentic smell and taste of Philly hoagies and cheesesteaks; however, it's vegan style. 💚💚💚 The Italian hoagie is my favorite. The smell when I unwrap the hoagie brings back memories of my junior high school days when I ordered Italian hoagies for lunch just about every day 😅. My favorite dessert are the chocolate chip cookies. I can't just eat one, I must have five 😅. “One of my more recent favorite Kava bars I’ve found if you’re looking for so far some of these strongest teas with equally unique flavor combinations this is the place to be! I personally enjoy the wide variety of mocktails and selection of flavors (personal a fan of Lychee, and Jasmine.) “My daughter is very picky with ice cream and saw a Facebook ad requesting we go. We went and ordered 4 different things in the hopes she’d eat something. She finished her entire ice cream and literally gave it a thumbs up. Usually she eats 1-2 bites and says she’s done. My 2 year old swapped between his and mine because he couldn’t decide what was better. My husband finished his first and doesn’t usually eat ice cream. We got strawberry sorbet, Greek yogurt, Belgium chocolate, chocolate hazelnut Oreo-one was made into a sandwich nothing but deliciousness!“

“Found King Subs on FB and ventured in to find a CLEAN, beautifully decorated little family owned sub shop. They didn't HAVE to decorate so nicely, but they did anyway - and that shows that they take pride in their appearance and their customer's first impression. My 12" Pastrami w/ provolone sub was 5 stars. (My co-worker was even jealous when he saw it! LOL) Great value for the money and I got two meals out of it. I LOVE that they use Boar's Head meats. We were both thrilled with our food and enjoyed the friendly and slightly "urban" atmosphere at the sushi bar. My only complaint is that Sushi Hara has ruined me for other sushi places now! The store had an interesting selection of sodas and a small selection of beers. My boyfriend, a former grass fed meat farmer, enjoyed his burger so much he bought some meat to take home.“
