Arthur & Sons has a lot of hype, so we went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the food felt fairly average for the price, and the much talked about chicken parm was surprisingly chewy. The experience wasn’t terrible, but for us it didn’t live up to expectations. We’ll probably stick with the other local Italian spots we’ve enjoyed for years.
Food was just okay.
Place is banging and the service is impeccable, definitely going back

Arthur & Sons NY Italian has a lot of hype. The atmosphere and decor are very fun and lively, with live music and even a DJ after 8pm. The food is served family style, which is perfect for sharing and sampling. Every appetizer, salad, macaroni, and main entre is on point and delicious, with attention to detail. The chicken parm was surprisingly chewy for some, and the spicy vodka sauce pasta dish was good but not $42 good. Pricing is on the higher side, and some feel it is extremely high for what you get. The tables are a bit tight for 4 people but it works. The waiter was nice but didn’t really go out of the way to explain food items and how it worked for first timers. For someone with a gluten allergy, the sub of gluten free pasta was appreciated, but that was pretty much all that could be had on the menu. More items offered on a separate menu would be a great addition. Nothing was offered for birthdays, and the poor waiter sang by himself over the band. Something more special would have been appreciated. For many, it did not disappoint, and some booked their next reservation before the main course made it to the table.
