“My wife and I stopped in here after a long hike at the nearby park. This restaurant has some classic Florida dishes, which are awesome if you’re a Florida Cracker and appreciate swamp cabbage, frog legs and steak. The owners make you feel at home . Great service. The fried green tomatoes were on point. The brisket sandwich was excellent. They smoked the brisket there themselves and the Florida style ( vinegar based if you aren’t a native) barbecue sauce was excellent. My wife had a Philly cheesesteak which she said was excellent. The french fries were cooked perfectly. If you have a chance to get out maybe a day on the lake or a day hunting this is definitely a place you need to stop in.”

The food was delicious and fresh. Everything had great flavor and was cooked perfect. The portions were big and very good quality.
The workers were super nice and gave amazing service. They smiled, helped us fast, and made us feel welcome.
It feels relaxing and fun to eat there.

“Don’t understand the bad reviews. Maybe I went on a good day. The two older ladies working where very fast and efficient. The food was great. The only complaint is they had no salt and pepper. Otherwise A+.”
