“A great place to grab lunch while visiting Wild Florida

While visiting Wild Florida, we decided to have lunch at the Chomp House Grill located near the entrance to the zoo section of the park. It was a very convenient place to stop and get a bite to eat. There is plenty of parking available in a long parking lot that runs along the front of the attraction, so finding a place to park was not a problem. Ordering is simple. You place your order at one window, and when your number is called, you pick it up at the second window. The menu is displayed on the wall between the two windows, making it easy to decide what you want before ordering. It is typical fare for restaurants with dishes like Hamburger, BBq Pork, etc. The lady who took our order was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We ordered two BBQ sandwiches with coleslaw and French fries. Our food came out in about ten minutes and was served in a foam takeout container along with a packet containing napkins, plastic utensils, salt, and pepper. Everything was fresh, hot, and very good. The cost for 2 meals and 1 drink was $33, reasonable for the amount and quality of the food you get. There are two places to enjoy eating your meal. One is an indoor seating area directly across from the ordering windows, while the other is a covered patio overlooking the lake. We chose to sit outside, where we enjoyed a nice breeze and even had a peacock wander over to visit us while we were eating, which added a little something extra to the experience. Overall, we had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was good, the service was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the lakeside setting made it a relaxing place to take a break during our visit to Wild Florida. If you're planning to spend the day at the park, I would definitely recommend stopping here for lunch. Enjoy!“
