“We’ve been looking for some good local bbq that isn’t in Tampa. We found it! We got two dinners, I got the chopped beef, my husband got the hot sausages. The baked beans are so delicious and sweet! On a whim I decided to get potato salad, and I’m so happy I did! It was delicious and not your average potato salad! My husband tried it and regretted not getting a side of it himself! The mains were also delicious and hot. The beef was most and flavorful and my husband said his sausage was great. Service was quick and friendly. We will be back!“

“My husband picked up the BBQ lamb chops from 4K’s BBQ. They tasted delicious. They were super tender and full of flavor. The portion size was accurate for the price. I even tried one and we will both get them again. I had the smoked sausage which was delicious as well. We will definitely be going back. I am so glad this area of Clearwater finally has good BBQ!“

Poppa's came to the rescue with a massive BBQ spread for 150 people within two hours. They saved our holiday party and we couldn't have been more thankful! “Walking by the storefront, we were hit by the smoky smell of bbq. Not hungry at the time but intrigued by the aroma, we decided to check out the offerings. We ordered the rib tips on bread and a chopped beef sandwich.The rib tips were fall off the bone tender and had a wonderful bbq sauce (which is available for purchase). This $12 offering would easily be $30-$40 in a larger metropolitan establishment. The chopped beef sandwich was overloaded with meat and sauce, and flavour!This will be my go to bbq place on any future visit to the St Pete are.“

“Our first time here tonight. Right next to Beach Bod’s gym with a cute little courtyard in the back if you want to dine on site or take it to go to the beach like we did. Jason made sure we had great service and everything was delicious. We got brisket and pulled pork, with mac n cheese, potato salad and double side of collard greens. I try to eat gluten free and my stomach felt fine after the brisket and collard greens even though there might be traces of gluten on things (I didn’t ask, maybe they can accommodate further). We’ll be back to try other things!“

It wasn't anything unique but damn good! The meal took us right back to our memories of visiting Hawaii! If we're ever back in the area, this is a must stop!If I can offer any suggestion, the atmosphere needs some work. All the tables outside were incredibly wobbly and dirty. Inside (at this visit - maybe not always) was an overwhelming burning/cooking smell.“
