Great subs, very fast, very friendly. Walk in order and minutes later ready to go. Bread was excellent, meat was good but not overly generous. Toppings were delicious.

We absolutely LOVE these subs. We stopped by two years ago on our way to Key West. This year we made it a point to stop back by on our way to Key West and on our way home to St. Aug. The sub rolls have the PERFECT texture. Soft yet a good bite and chewy. The veggies taste fresh and lettuce shreds perfect. Our go to subs are The Hit man, the Italian and a meatball. We tried the garlic cheese bread (think garlic grilled cheese almost) and it was good but I prefer the subs. They also have a good popsicle selection. Highly recommend. Atmosphere: it is a walk in and order and take it to go kind of place. It doesn’t need atmosphere but it is clean.

We stopped on our way south out of Key Largo today (7/14/25). We judge any other sub, (including Pub Subs IYKYK) by what we get at Avenue Subs. I had the Hitman. She had the Italian. Daughter had the Meatball. 8”or 12”. Enough for 2 meals. Thanks for the great food Avenue Subs. You keep us coming back for more!

Just got into Key Largo and wanted a quick bite. This place hit the spot. Awesome food, nice staff. No tables inside, most people seem to get it to go and do call ahead orders.
Absolutely awesome. I had a baked Italian sub and it was delicious. Packed with meat and perfectly seasoned. Don't skip the cookies. They're amazing. Super friendly staff. I could eat here every day.

Best subs in the Keys!! Stop in, you will NOT be disappointed. They have cold AND hot subs, also the cold subs can be baked, if you prefer your turkey, roast beef, or Italian hot. The bread they use is amazing. It only takes maybe 15 minutes to make a sub, maybe a bit longer if they're super busy, or a bit less if it's not lunch rush time. My opinion is they're even better than Publix subs, and more convenient as you can call ahead and NOT have to walk a mile from the parking lot to the back of the grocery store.

I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a chicken sub—but wow, this one totally delivered. The chicken was flavorful, and tasted fresh, not overly processed or bland like you sometimes get with cold deli sandwiches. The bread was fresh and held everything together perfectly without getting soggy.
All the toppings were crisp and balanced—fresh veggies, just the right amount of sauce, and everything layered evenly so you got a bit of everything in each bite. It was refreshing, satisfying, and honestly one of the best subs I’ve ever had.
