Food was good and setting really nice, but it was shocking to find that they charge for parking, unless you spend at least $150 (which we did not). We haven't come across another restaurant on Key Largo that charges for parking. And you have to show the guard at the entrance a copy of your reservation. The place is too pretentious. The food is as good elsewhere, which is where we will go in the future.

We booked this reservation for our Anniversary and we're pretty disappointed. We arrived on time for our reservation at 7pm and were told that there was a wait. We found seats at the bar but weren't sat at our table for another hour later. We ordered the special which was lobster Alfredo and the lobster was unfortunately overcooked. We then ordered a key lime pie for dessert which was clearly one that was frozen and not plated any special way to highlight our Anniversary. The atmosphere was very nice but the music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation at the table. All in all, the server forgot about us and was seen making coffee in the back room and we requested the busboy grab him for the check. 20% gratuity is included so he didn't seem to care. This restaurant has great potential and perhaps we just got them on an off night. Just be aware that they do not honor a reservation time as we were one of three couples who were waiting to be sat for a very long time.

Service was incredible! View spectacular! Appetizers and salad were delicious- dinner (fish) was so salty it was not edible. The server did the right thing and adjusted the bill...

This restaurant has been a must visit on our Key Largo trip for many years. Food is great. Ambiance on balcony is wonderful. However, this year they decided to charge for parking plus a mandatory service charge on the credit card for parking. No cash accepted. Unfortunately this will be our last visit.

We were celebrating my niece's 50th birthday. We are from Colorado and had never been to Calusa before. We could not have asked for a better overall experience. Our server Justin was top notch! The food and ambiance was perfect for this special occasion.

Went for the Thanksgiving dinner buffet. Sadly turned out to be a very overpriced, tasteless meal. $97 for per head for spoiled oysters and grocery store dessert is very disappointing. We were told we could not take more crab legs after taking 1 each, even though it was a buffet. Thank goodness our waiter and the wine was good otherwise we may have walked out.

I booked on Thanksgiving evening and It was not advertised as that It was a buffet. The food was not good and expensive for what it was.

Delicious turkey! Fabulous array of beautiful and tasty Thanksgiving dishes. Wait staff so kind and attentive! Did not have to ask for anything. Miguel was always there to ask what we needed. We are thankful for Calusa at Baker's Cay resort and the wonderful people who work there!

Great atmosphere for a evening date. Only downfall was the starting rolls. Bland and boring.

I made a reservation over a month ago. I purposely stayed at this resort for the last night of our vacation, celebrating our anniversary, so we could have a nice anniversary dinner. When I checked into the hotel they told me about all the restaurants and bars, and I excitedly told them I had a reservation at Calusa for that evening. My husband and I checked in and got ready for dinner, as we wanted to look a little nicer to get some anniversary photos. We showed up for our reservation and the doors were locked and someone was inside just working on a computer. Confused, we go down to the bar and they confirmed the restaurant was closed for the evening but could not give an explanation. I went to the front desk and they were apologetic but could not explain why I got a text confirmation that same day if the restaurant was closed. We were super disappointed and I think every person in the hotel was trying to eat and have drinks at the bar. We played pool for a while until the crowd died down and then had pizza and cocktails at the bar. It was good but still a very disappointing way to spend our anniversary!

This place has its act together. Great service, food, and location. Sat on an outdoor "balcony" overlooking the sunset across Florida Bay. Occasion was for my birthday, and they included a special dessert.

This is our second time at Calusa. The first time was about 4 years ago and we were hoping for a better experience considering the fact that it is part of the Baker's Cay resort. My husband and I both ordered the Florida Mahi with the guava glaze. The food was served in a timely manner and was the perfect temperature; however, the only thing on my plate that was seasoned was the mashed potatoes. The fish and the broccolini were completely under seasoned. I wish that there would be more fish options on the menu and other options for toppings to make the selections more savory. For 36.00 a plate, this was extremely underwhelming. In contrast, the ambience was beautiful and the restaurant overlooks the water, capturing the beautiful Florida Keys sunset. The service was good and the host was friendly and accommodating. However, if you go to the resort, I suggest eating at the Dry Rocks restaurant which is also on property. The food there was much better and more reasonably priced.
