We stopped here for lunch on our way to Key West. The meal was delicious, and the key lime pie was out of this world! Ronald Williams provided the best service. I highly recommend Sal's Ballyhoo's!
Wow! What an incredible place. Great staff and incredible food! Generous and high quality portions.
Also if anyone is vegetarian, vegan or gluten is an issue they have a whole separate menu!

Awesome pie!!!
I was given a $50 gift card by a friend and my final bill was $45. The server then said the gift card was expired, I had to pay with my debit card. Naturally i wanted to investigate why a card i was given 48hrs prior was expired, only for the said waiter to tell me I needed to spend $35 so there would be at least $15 to cover tip. Sal's Ballyhoo's Seafood Restaurant is a Key Largo institution that stands out as a real deal, low-key, chill spot. The food and service are always amazing and high quality. They use the most famous San Marzano tomatoes from Italy in all their tomato sauces. The not the diavolo pizza and the lasagna were the best ever had outside of Italy. The churrasco is hands-down the best, and the chimichurri should be bottled and sold. The Oreo peanut butter pie is worth saving room for every single time. The Ballyhoos Fish Sandwich and the key lime pie are delicious, and the sweet potato casserole is so perfectly sweet it could double as a dessert. The staff is incredibly friendly, with a polite gentleman at the door and a super friendly female waitress. The atmosphere is relaxed with chill vibes. It is a monthly must-visit for incredible fresh food and the best value in the Keys.
