Location closed
This restaurant appears to have changed hands and is now Dayas Restaurant. The Fernandez sign has been removed, and the food and service are not up to the quality of the former ownership. Perhaps this listing should be removed. Same location but definitely not the same experience.
What a find!
The Medianoche was wonderful and ready to go when I walked in. Perfect for a quick bite to take in the car while in the Keys.

I arrived at 1:40pm and it was closed.
We ate here in September 2020 during the Plandemic. It was so refreshing to walk in without a diaper on our faces and enjoy delicious food. Family run and so accommodating. We feasted and enjoyed everything we ate so much we came back the next night. Highly recommend!

They were closed for over a month for the vacation of a lifetime. Now I go at 8:20pm and they were closed again. Ridiculous. Why is it impossible to get service in the Keys?

This Cuban restaurant in Key Largo has a large affordable menu. We were 1st time patrons of Cuban food. The staff was very patient and helpful.We all had different dinners (5) that were plentiful and hot.We very much enjoyed this place even though the decor was a little run down.
