Gilbert’s was an amazing location, our room was newly remodeled, and very clean. The staff and security were amazing and very helpful. Food was fantastic, the absolutely best part was watching the dolphins all day long. We also saw a manatee.

Love that the Restaurant Bar is just 35 minutes away from Homestead Love the vibe the food has gotten overpriced and the below block for hotel guests only but I still like going there!!!!
Don't love that they blocked the sunset view for us locals since months ago. The end of the area that was water front is now only for hotel guests. The local tradition of seeing the sunset after eating and drinking there was taken away from us.

I took my family (5) to Gilbert’s and rented a cabana on a rainy day to keep dry in between rain storms. I was immediately greeted by a beautiful, kind young lady who seemed eager to help & ensure we had a memorable time. When we got to the entrance of the cabanas Igor a tall, nice looking fella with beautiful eyes greeted us with a smile. He immediately made us feel warm and welcome. Every need was anticipated and exceedingly met. We drank and ate for hours with our friends and kids and it was great. A great experience until we decided to rent jet skis that is. The guy working it was being rude, making unnecessary comments. He made everyone in a group of 8 uncomfortable. I will never return there but as for the restaurant and service. Great time!!!!! Thanks Igor for ensuring we had a great time and accommodating last minute guests. We will be back to see him!!!! Igor is highly recommended!!!

While I didn't stay at the resort I did stop to eat there twice! The wings and cheese steak were delicious! The view was great including dolphins! A beautiful place I'd recommend to you.

I only rated 5 stars so you had a better chance of seeing this. Everything was closed, beach, pool, restaurant. There was NO music, NO nothing. But the custumer services were kinda nice. Not there fault this place is so bad.

A great tiki bar that allows you to hold on to the great vibes of the Keys right before you hit mainland again. The food was great, service exceptional and the atmosphere is perfect for island life! Security was plentiful, but pleasant!

Very rude staff. We stopped on the way home from a Keys tour. They wanted to search our truck since we had a cooler and suitcases. We also had two beagles they gave us a hard time about. The beagles were just all over the keys and we were met warmly everywhere we went. Very disappointed with Gilbert’s! Don’t waste your time or money and go someplace nice.
