Room was perfect. Service at the restaurant not the best. Waited for a waiter for an hour after asking 3 times if a waiter was coming. Just miscommunication. The food was good though besides that.

Didn't to the the hotel. I went to the bar and to come in, they treated you a delinquent, checks bag and everything like your trying to get something in. The service is horrible, and the wait is longer than expected. The beach is dirty, full of flooding stuff.

Honest review: decent rooms. Waterfront is barely any added value. Floors were dirty. On site bar and restaurant was pricey and not good. Breakfast was better than expected, friendly hostess. There was no water all morning on our checkout. Front office young lady didn't want to hear anything about a refund. They got all these extensive policies with fines, but if they don't deliver the basics, you can fk off. Not worth the money.

Walkability: Nothing to walk.

My boyfriend and I went to gilberts to eat and was very disappointed. Hardly no one there and the service was so bad. The waiter only came to our table maybe 3 or 4 times while we was there, then had to ask 6 times to get our check so we could leave.

Advanced Reaserch Institute of Miami

I've been coming to Gilbert's for at least 20 years. Went there with my girlfriends a couple of weeks ago and had a terrible experience! We got up to go take a look at the boats and came across the rudest employee I have ever witnessed in a service industry. His name is Carlos and claims to be the manager there. Was rude to my friends, but I noticed he was being rude to everyone...so we didn't take it personally. Just this sense of superiority, I guess. Like I said, I didn't take it personally, but it did ruin the mood in an otherwise pleasant lunch.
