Quaint place for breakfast in Key Largo. Food is good, muffins are excellent.

We stopped by and grabbed three muffins to go since the parking lot was packed.
They were cold and pretty dense — not warm and fluffy like you might expect. That wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, just something to be aware of if you’re expecting a fresh-from-the-oven texture.
The key lime muffin was a bit too tart for our taste, and there’s a filling in the middle that we didn’t love. The lychee pineapple was good overall, but the flavor didn’t strongly come through as either fruit.
Our favorite was the guava cream cheese — that one had the best balance of flavor and texture.

I had an amazing experience at Harriette’s Restaurant! The service was absolutely awesome — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and overall experience.
It was definitely worth the 1 hour and 30 minute drive. I would gladly make the trip again!
Highly recommend!

This island eatery is a excellent place for a morning bite before hitting the water or the road south you can't beat Harriots restaurant & world famous Muffins! This is a popular place so expect a short wait but nothing over 20-30 minutes, with that time you can look over the gift shop and decide over 40+ different muffin varieties. The food was well worth the wait there was the normal key west fair such as shrimp&grits, lobster omelets and biscuits and gravy along with all your classic breakfast favorites, service was fast & friendly the atmosphere was grandma's turned into a restaurant just on a island. Try the muffins.

Quaint old school American diner that serves delicious food. Staff are friendly. Handmade desserts, including Keylime pie.
Parking is all around the building

Harriette’s used to be one of the highlights of our Key Largo annual trip. We loved the muffins and biscuits. We went today and the biscuit recipe has definitely changed and it was so disappointing. Service is still great but I just had to review to give people fair warning that if you’ve been going for years and you’re expecting the five star food don’t expect that.

Overrated at 4.7 BUT always a great experience when you’re heading down to the Keys and worth the stop. SUPER friendly service but the food is kind of meh and the massive portions don’t mask that. Hash browns were undercooked and lacked flavor. Biscuits are each large enough for an entire family but again they lacked any distinctive flavor. Pricing is reasonable.

So the “muffins” are incredibly incredibly dense. They have good flavor but in no shape resemble a muffin. Food is good but everything we ordered was quite heavy
