Had a great meal here on our drive down to Key West. I got a fried seafood platter and it was great! Nice atmosphere sitting out back next to the water and boats.

Great Keys place tucked away just off US 1. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent (Turkey club, mahi tacos) and the Smokey Mexcalita, which was excellent. Our server Adrian was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back in the future as we pass back and forth to our place in Summerland.

Had the sea food sampler, amazing. Would love to visit again and sample more. But rode 250 miles for lunch so might be a minute before I ride the hog back down.

Just wow, ? very been eating in the keys for almost 40 years and this place nocks it out of the park. Everything we got was exceptional, the seafood sampler, lobster bisque, shrimp quesadilla, and lobster Rockefeller pasta were insanely good. I’m blown away with the quality and freshness of everything. I will absolutely be coming back and taking friends.

The food is amazing 5 stars. Burts Chicken was tasty and delicious The seafood combo was great too. I felt welcomed the moment I entered the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly. I went with my standard poodle and even my dog was welcomed. The service is 5 stars. The atmosphere was amazing too. The only thing I recommend that you use insect repellent if you are sitting outside for dinner. There are a lot of mosquitoes, but the staff are really nice and they offer you mosquito repellent if you ask them for some. I have been here at Buzzards Roost and I will definitely return to eat there.

When we got to our table, we noticed the young couple next to us poking at their steaks. They weren’t cooked properly and they were sending them back. (Doesn’t the cook know how to use a meat thermometer?)Well, we got a nice table outside by the water where we kept seeing two dolphins so we were happy about that. I ordered a huge salad with mahi and my friend ordered a steak. His steak was unseasoned, bland as could be. My mahi was grilled but bland too, zero spices. Even the salad dressing was bland. I requested a different salad dressing and both were bland. They should just buy premade dressing instead of trying to make it if it tastes like this. This place does not know how to season their food… how do you sell such bland fish like this in Key Largo???We watched the couple next to us leave unhappy. The awful food ruined their mood.We paid $120 for two people.Don’t trust the positive reviews that say the food is good.its unacceptably bad. Go elsewhere, you’ve been warned.

HIDDEN GEM ?( If disabled read below)My husband and I have been going every time we are in the Keys (every 3 months) for years. The last time, I do not know if it was just before closing or what, but it was the first time the service was very slow, (there were less than 10 people in the restaurant), first time server was hard to get the waitress attention (it seemed like she totally forgot we were in the restaurant). My husband and I were on the inside alone, and even one else was seated in the bar area ( we were seated in the corner right behind the person who welcomed you at the very front) I had 2 lobster and they were over cooked because they were very tough, my husband had one of the specials he loved it and said it was probably the top 10 dish so far he has had there so far. It was the first time and only time that had happened to us, but they did discount the meal. I still HIGHLY recommend checking the place out of this hidden Gem. If you are passing, throw the Key's. You get big portions if you are dealing with shell's ask for an extra plate. Also, I love the spinach and artichoke app. Apps are big enough for 2 (and still end up taking some home). BRING A BIG APPITITE!!! TONE OF FOOD WITH EVEN WITH 1 APPITIZER!!♿️ IF YOUR DISABLED ♿️If you are disabled and it is painful to sit for a long period of time, I recommend bringing your own back pad and setting pad or using your wheelchair! They do have some at the front as you walk in, but they are usually all gone. (Their seat pads do not help at all and are usually taken by people who think there for people who don't really need them) they feel like you are sitting on a padded place mat. NO HELP made for non handycped people. You will be there for over an hour usually.Parking: A lot of parking. Unless packed.Kid-friendliness: Have always seen the kids enjoying them selves when ever we have been there.Wheelchair accessibility: ♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️♿️Handycped friendly(not many Handycped parking spots, I think there were 2. one on each side of the front door) still worth it bringing your wheelchair. If you are not in a wheelchair they have seating pads at the front as you walk in, but highly recommended, bringing your own not very comfortable to me not much padding on hard wood chairs through out the whole restaurant.I have a severe case of fibromyalgia, and I'm in pain all the time (chairs are very painful for me to sit on after 10 minutes), but that is me. (IF IT IS PAINFUL FOR YOU TO SITE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, I RECOMMEND YOUR WHEELCHAIR OR BRING YOUR OWN SEAT PADS BACK AND BOTTOM)! The seats are all wooden with straight backs not comfortable at all for disabled people (still worth the pain for me because I live in bed 24/7 because of my Fibromyalgia) it depends on the person though.

This was an awesome find using Google Maps. Not real touristy but a favorite of the locals. The food here is great but the service is outstanding. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The have some unique menu items so ask your server about the "must have" options. These are the dishes that are most popular here. There is plenty of free parking around the buildingParking: Easy free parkingKid-friendliness: Kids like it here

It took quite a while before our waitress came to the table and the place wasn’t very busy. We heard another waitress complain to a table that they didn’t leave enough of a tip for her. We had the fish tacos and their crispy calamari. Both the calamari & French fries were greasy. The fryer temperature must have been set too low. Overall the place was ok, but too many issues for us to go back. I think they have lost their touch.
