Disappointed is the best description of my feeling for our experience at this restaurant. Bagatelle has charming aesthetic appeal and I read wonderful reviews about the quality of the food. We had seats on the balcony overlooking Duval St which provided awesome views of the Key West artery. The severer was fantastic; friendly and anxious to please. Now the bad part…incorrectly prepared salad and my 16 oz NY strip was ordered medium rare and served medium well to well. My wife’s chicken was served correctly but the taste was mediocre at best. The staff remade my salad quickly! However, it took nearly 30 minutes after I mentioned the problem to get a new correctly prepared steak. (I was told it would only take 10 minutes). My wife ate while I sat then I ate while she sat. Not the experience I expected at a so called “finer” restaurant.

We are locals, and we always go for breakfast at different places in Key West. Because we usually stay longer than other guests, almost every time waiters rush us, drop the check, or ask us to leave. This was one of those places where we didn’t feel rushed. Our waitress, Brianna, was absolutely amazing!
She gave us great recommendations about food, made us delicious cappuccino, she was so welcoming, and just a bright person! Special thanks to her.
Also, we didn’t have a reservation, but we asked for a table on the balcony, and they gave us the table we wanted, so thank you to the hostess.
The food was delicious, and we had a great experience. We are definitely coming back!

I read reviews of this restaurant in Key West and wanted to try it. I love restaurants in old houses with the charm and ambience. It did not disappoint. We arrived in time for brunch and ordered the crab eggs Benedict. So delicious with the side of potatoes with onion and green peppers. We mentioned to our server that we were celebrating our anniversary and they treated us to a slice of key lime pie. We sat on the balcony where we could hear the music of Duval street and savor the gulf breezes.

Always a delightful meal at Bagatelle. We went for brunch. We had the crispy French toast and the Rise & Shine Sandwich/Bagel. We complemented our 'entrees' with a mango mimosa and sangria. Excellent food. Great quality. Sat at a nice table outside on the first floor porch. Great views of Duval, though a little warm sitting in the sun. : ) Place was hopping so service was a little slower than on other recent visits. Not a problem, just a note.

We have been dining at the Bagatelle for 35 years. We always visit them every time we go to Ket West. Along with the quiet ambiance their food is fabulous. We always get their yellowtail snapper which is locally caught.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our wedding anniversary! Julie provided exceptional service with wonderful dinner recommendations, paced our meal perfectly and helped us celebrate this special moment. I highly recommend the hog fish if the special is still going and the chicken. The key lime pie was also a perfect ending to delicious meal.
Our experience was excellent, the Grouper was delicious and the lobster fettuccine was superb. The key lime pie had a lovely flaky pastry and was accented with a drizzle of raspberry coulis. Perfect ending. The service was friendly and very accommodating.

We always have brunch here whenever we visit Key West. Do yourself a favor and try the Southern Eggs Benedict. You will not be disappointed! Great staff & wonderful ambiance watching the great Key West environment!

Had a delicious breakfast sitting on the front porch. It was my birthday & they brought me a piece of Key Lime pie with a beautiful meringue on it & a big sparkler; this was a big surprise & very yummy.

The food was subpar. Filet was well cooked but low quality and gristly, especially for the price point. The burrata and tomato salad was lacking in tomatoes. Overall the food was disappointing. They have a very good mule though.
