The dive bar of dive bars. Grungy of grungy. Dollar bills and bras get left behind here! Live music. Reasonably priced drinks. Pool tables. Other stuff. But most importantly alcohol! Short walk from cruise ship pier. And it's the oldest bar in Florida!!!

Very cool old school feel.

First off, I was born here in Big Pine. Tony was a loser 4th rate mobster from Jersey, but we all were somehow. My gripe is the lame Boomer Trumpneck guitarists. They take "all" requests but shake their heads when it comes to Wish You Were Here or Life's Been Good So Far?Seriously, you lame receding ponytail bro? Try California where they know every groove and love it.Have fun, old MAGAs. Your free ride is about to dry up.

It's one of those kitschy places. Bras and money hanging on the ceiling. Live music is always fun.

The service’s treatment is terrible. We came in and an employee asked for my id (which is normal, I know). I asked a question, and was ready to show my id. That person told me to get out from the bar because I was arguing with him (which I didn’t) and he is not in the mood… whatever, I’ll find another place where to spend my money, but be aware, that your vacation mood can be spoiled in this place…If anyone from the management is reading this review (and cares), it was 9pm on March 31, 2024.

Use to be one of my favorite places. But my husband left my diabetic supplies there last night. I didn't have pockets. I tried calling 7 times. No answer. Way to treat your locals.

Dark, laidback, and friendly. The Pirate's Punch is some kind of nuclear yellow, fruity drink (not a slushy) that goes down very easily. They've got an excellent gift shop inside the bar that really can't be beat. Don't forget to try and get a quarter into the fish's mouth high above and outside the entrance. It's extremely difficult but I saw it done. One of the better bars anywhere.
