We ate here back in 2017 and it was really good, so we wanted to go back… ownership must have changed because it was terrible. Chips were good, salsa too spicy. So little food on my Shrimp taco plate. I am a 135 lb woman and it did not fill me up. Way overpriced. Will definitely not return.

AMAZING meal. Fantastic service from every single person in the building. All around amazing. We live in islamorada and will be making the drive regularly now for date nights when we need tacos! Thanks Chico’s! Oh and love our shirt for our cousin! He’s gonna love it and can’t wait to come eat there with us!!And if you don’t get the cheese dip with ground beef your missing out!!!

My first time here. The cheese dip didn't have much flavor, although the tacos were amazing! The burrito was ok. I'm going to try the steak tacos next. This is a pretty cool place.

The beef burrito with green chili sauce is incredible. One of my favorites from anywhere (not just the Keys). I was in town for 1 day only ( I am from here) and that was my only stop. Robin gave excellent service and was friendly with a great attitude. Thanks Robin.
I like this place! I see some one star reviews. Taste is a personal thing and a lot depends on where you grew up. I grew up in central California and there are a LOT of Mexican food choices. The food most people think of as Mexican is generally from the Sonora region. Rich chili based sauces and a little (or lot) of heat. This is not that place! Seems to be a melding of several regions. Their Chili con carne is not at all what you expect. It is delicious, warm and not spicy at all. It was also great the next day as a dip for the chips! The tacos and enchiladas are pretty standard although the shredded beef was a little bland. The ground beef had some seasoning. The margaritas were pretty good. Staff is great and welcoming. This place fills up fast so get there early or be prepared for a wait.Overall, I would easily be talked into coming back when in the keys.Parking: There are a few parking spots out front. If they are full you will have to find something nearby.
