“In a town full of great places to eat, this hidden gem may be the best of them all. Hands-down, one of the best kept secrets in Key West! (And trust us, we ate our way around the island). El Siboney is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, with just a few parking spaces. Very walkable, too. This is an unpretentious family restaurant for regular people who just want to hang out in a regular joint and stuff themselves with Abuela’s love-filled home cooking. We were immediately welcomed like longtime friends, with big smiles and genuine hospitality so unique to the Keys. The staff were just as enthusiastic to serve us this authentic Cuban food as we were to savor it. From our tiny table tucked in a warm corner, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the camaraderie unfold between longtime patrons and bustling servers, as we all broke bread together in one soul-satisfying feast. Unbelievable taste, quality and authenticity. We made full use of their homemade signature hot sauces and piles of napkins, as we loaded forkfuls of moan-inducing bites into our mouths. Sweet plantains, saffron rice, Cuban black beans, tostones mix, Cuban buttered bread, roasted pulled pork, ropa vieja, tres leches cake and eye-popping cafe Cubano. (Beware, we didn’t listen to the waiter’s advice and ordered the big mugs…. Akin to 4 shots of Cuban espresso, drank gustily at nearly 9 pm and kept us vibrating til way up in the night! 🤣) Did we rename the pulled pork “Marry Me Pork” for its power to induce marriage proposals to the chef, the manager and the waiter? Did we waddle home and unbutton our pants, moaning that we were never going to eat another a bite? Did we feast on the leftover tres leches cake at 1 am regardless? And did we take home a bottle of that signature hot sauce to dump on our bland Northern Michigan eggs as we recalled one of the best vacations of our lives? Yes. Yes, we did. Muchas gracias, El Siboney. We love you ❤️“

“Great place. The ladies that worked the Greene St. shop are so sweet and friendly. When I worked for the Conch Tour Train it was my go-to at the Stop 3 😁 I've moved since mid 2022. If I get the chance to visit, I will definitely stop in for a cup of coffee and their delicious emenadas 😀“

“OMG the breakfast burrito was AH-MAZE-ING! I was skeptical about the rice inside, but it actually made it better! And the side of cilantro sauce was incredible. Plus pleasant people and very quick service. Cafe con leche was also perfect. We did takeout and she made it when we got there. I'd give you 10 stars if I could. Thank you!“

“We stopped in during our Key West cruise port visit. What a fantastic experience! The cafe was fairly busy yet there was plenty of help to serve us in a timely manner. The two double Cuban coffees we ordered were absolutely amazing! ☕ A perfect way to pave the runway for our Key West visit! ?“

“Best Bacon Cheese burger on the Island hands down! Wendy's, McDs and Sonics has nothing on this Mom & Pop corner sandwich shop! If you're looking for a Good burger I can not recommend this shop enough as this they serve the best!. Plus the French Frys are ALWAYS hot and fresh unlike Mcgurggles!!“

“I’m on vacation and found this place three days ago, been there everyday since. As a Central American the dishes taste just like a homemade breakfast, portions are hefty (just as a breakfast lover like me needs), and the coffee satisfies every taste bud as only Cuban coffee can. The ladies (and gentleman) that work there are kind, quick, and helpful ! Breakfast never tasted so good (I drove during severe weather warnings and thanked the heavens they were open)
Parking: If you really can’t find street parking I’d say use the first few spots (by the bushes) across the street at the advanced auto parts“

“We stayed down the block at a AirBnB so naturally got coffee and breakfast our first morning. It was so delicious we ate breakfast there every morning except for one (we had to leave for the ferry before they opened, so we ate dinner there that night!) All the food was amazing! Well seasoned, fresh, flavorful, and portions were huge! The coffee was perfect, I really loved the cortadito and milk espreso. The staff was friendly and offered recommendations if needed.“

“I wish I could even articulate how much we love this place. We stayed in Key West for a month and genuinely looked forward to getting our coffee from Edwin every morning. Not even a few days in he had memorized both of our orders and had them ready for us by the time we got to the counter. Not to mention we’re both coffee snobs to the max and this is quite easily, the best coffee in town.“
