We ate outside to ghe sounds of live Latin band. Watching the chickens and tourist mingle on their way to Mallory Square. The atmosphere, food, and service was all top notch. The waiter found out it was our anniversary and brought out a huge piece of one of ghe best chocolate cakes ever on a beautifully decorated plate. Everything came together to make a wonderful evening.

This was such a great find. The food was awesome. The Ropa Vieja dish and picadillo is excellent. The garlic bread is addicting. If I visit Key West again, I will come back.

You really feel like you have been transported to Cuba upon entering the restaurant.We started with passion fruit mojitos. By far the best mojito I have ever had. There was a perfect balance between sweet and sour. You will definitely want more than just one, once you try it.They serve warm pressed Cuban bread and mojo (salsa), mild and hot. The green mojo (mild) was money. It was a flavor explosion of lime and garlic, so incredibly good. The best way I can describe the red mojo (hot) was like a vinegar base, almost like a wing sauce.We then ordered #15 (empanadas) which came with 2. We did one beef and one chicken. The chicken empanada was packed full and very flavorful. The chicken was on the drier side. The beef was less full but was far more flavorful than the chicken one. The dough that the meat was packed in was like a flaky delicious pie crust.We also had #16 which is a sampler platter of their most popular dishes (Conch Fritters, chicken wings, croquetas, stuffed potato balls and fried yucca).Conch fritters were very good with large pieces of conch.The chicken wings were marinated in the mild mojo and grilled which the flavors were on point. The flats were cooked perfectly, however the drummies were tough and dry.The croquetas were a miss, they were supposed to be stuffed with ham, chicken and cheese and there was no sight or flavor of any of that.The stuffed potato balls had picadillo and pork filling which was quite flavorful and delicious.The fried yucca was sweet with a dense consistency.The service was absolutely outstanding as well as the whole atmosphere of the restaurant.Overall this place is a huge win and I would definitely come back to try more.Give us a follow @gbdiningdykes on Instagram

This is a great place with great food. Unfortunately, we weren't happy with our experience. They didn't have what we ordered and let us know seconds before they brought the dinner ... so one of us was without dinner. Also forgot silverware. The place wasn't busy on Tuesday. There was no excuse. They had a great special appetizer. Drinks was ok, nothing special. Unfortunately, customer service wasn't great. Food and the welcome bread were delicious. Prices are pricey.Kid-friendliness: Yes. Also, fun inside.
