My visit to the Grand Café in Key West was outstanding from start to finish, thanks to both the incredible food and the exceptional service—especially from our waitress, Zulia. She was the highlight of the evening: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a memorable experience. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she managed to be both professional and personable without ever feeling intrusive. She truly elevated the entire meal. The food itself was just as impressive. The tuna tartare was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced—each bite packed with clean flavor and just the right amount of acidity and texture. It set the tone perfectly for what was to come. Then came the lobster, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Tender, rich, and perfectly prepared, it was the kind of dish that reminds you why dining out can feel like a special occasion. The presentation was elegant without being fussy, and every element on the plate complemented the lobster flawlessly. Between the wonderful ambiance, the delicious food, and Zulia’s exceptional service, the Grand Café has easily become one of my favorite spots in Key West. If you’re looking for a place that combines quality, comfort, and hospitality, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. And if you’re lucky enough to have Zulia as your server, you’re in for an even better night.

Excellent restaurant to have dinner . The atmosphere and staff are great . The food so delicious . The beef carpaccio , the branzino and the burger so good . We truly had a delicious dinner seated in the front porch .
Great place to dine in KEY WEST!! Outside tables, great atmosphere, wonderful food options!
Three of us ate here on a Saturday night in early November. That night is the test for any restaurant, and this one passed with flying colors. We sat outside on the porch area (as opposed to the ground level outside seating), which was more private. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, but if you sit outside be prepared for the noise from Duval Street. It would not really have been an issue except right across the street is the Hard Rock Cafe, which blasted music so loud that sometimes it was hard to have a conversation. We were told that happens only on Saturday nights, but if you are considering going to this restaurant and sitting outside, you might want to check with the Hard Rock Cafe to see if they are having live music that night. There are lots of good choices on the menu and wine list. Our server Paola was outstanding. Very accommodating of making menu changes, and got everything right without having to write a single thing down. Plus she was very attentive all through dinner. The fried calamari appetizer was great. Our dinner entrees were scallops, snapper and tuna. Everything was prepared just the way we asked and was very delicious. For dessert I had a custom ordered scoop of vanilla ice cream with a shot of kahlua. Except for the loud music from the Hard Rock Cafe, we had a great time and would definitely return the next time we vacation in the area. Terrific menu, great food, superb service, and a pleasant place to eat dinner outside.
The food was great, but service was terrible. We had to ask for water twice, we were missing a place setting and couldn't wave anyone down, they didn't give us drink menus and eventually grabbed it ourselves from the host stand.
We were at family dinner... what can I say!! Everything is great! Paola made us feel at home! Recommended what to eat, what to drink and what was best for the child! The typical Key West dessert... wow! Thanks Paola, what an unforgettable evening
Had the lamb chop special and it was cooked to perfection and properly seasoned. Beet salad was also very good. My wife had the filet which was also very good.
Great experience.. We showed up early and they invited us to take advantage of their Happy Hour ! Everything was Splendid..
The Grand is one of our go-to places in Key West. It is always good and the view of Duval street is always entertaining. We will continue to frequent The Grand.

A very nice restaurant on Duval Street in Key West with good menu and wine lists. My friend and I sat outside on the elevated patio overlooking the comings and goings on Duval Street. For food, we chose a few appetizers, especially the Tartare of Yellowfin Tuna, and paired everything with good white wines.

Ate outside and flies were right there when food arrived. Hard to eat with them. Also fish was not deboned. Hard to eat.
The service was awful. We were a table of three. Then they added an 18% gratuity to the check brought to the table. Then brought the credit card signature ticket over with a line item to add gratuity again. This is an apparent scam they perpetrate hopefully getting guests to not notice the first 18% gratuity likely added to all tickets. Don’t go here. There are plenty of other legitimate restaurants on Duvall.

Nobody came over to put table for 20+ minutes after we were seated, drink order came out wrong and then steak was undercooked and lobster was overcooked
Sat outside was nice atmosphere. Waitress was great along with food and drinks.
