Lovely place for breakfast! Me and my family ate eggs, pancakes, bacon and bread for a really reasonable price. The coffee was really good as well! The two people who ran it were really friendly and were happy to talk to us about Key West after we ate. It is also in a beautiful courtyard with seats both outside and inside.

Lucy's Cafe is hidden in a courtyard near Mallory Square, but it's worth the exploration to eat here. Our breakfast was delicious. We started with some iced coffee with milk, perfectly made. Then I had eggs with bacon, Cuban bread, and refried beans with cheese. My wife had a breakfast burrito with perfect portions of egg, bacon, and cheese. Lucy brought me some homemade red sauce to try and said "it's very spicy"... but for me it was a perfect amount of heat with a whole heck of a lot of flavor. Every bite of food I took had some of that sauce on it! My wife loved her burrito. She doesn't like it when places overload the burrito with mostly eggs. Instead, it was equal portions of bacon and egg with just the right amount of cheese. The prices were great and the service was top notch. There is a little space inside to sit if you want to get out of the heat. Please give Lucy's a try, you will be very glad you did.

The food is very delicious and authentic. The vibe of the place is also pretty chill and the owners are very friendly and polite.
Great little authentic spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Feels like you’ve stepped into another world, perhaps somewhere in Cuba. Shrimp tacos were stellar with freshly caught shrimp of the day perfectly seasoned and prepared on a bed of green peppers, onions, cilantro and cabbage. Side included the best coleslaw we’ve had on our Keys trip so far (we’ve had it in 3 different restaurants.) Pair with an iced cafe con leche for a refreshing mid day treat. A lovely, quiet break with tables inside or outside to choose from. Great service. Highly recommend!
