After waiting for 45 minutes for our fish tacos we left. Every table around us, who arrived after us, was served their food. Including the table of eight who arrived 20 minutes after we ordered was served their food. I would not recommend the seafood dip. Ours had 3 tiny shrimp mixed with enough green peppers to choke a horse.

I visited the Margaritaville in Key West on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at approximately 2:00 as the lunch rush was winding down. I approached the “hostess” and requested a table for one. She informed me that there were no tables available. I looked around the restaurant and noted that there were at least 5 vacant tables (out of 20 or so) and about one half of the seats at the bar were vacant. She did not suggest that perhaps I would be comfortable at the bar nor did she offer a wait time for a table. As a 69 year old professional woman, I have traveled alone often and have always been welcomed in restaurants and treated with respect. Not this time! Clearly those who are traveling alone are not welcome at Margaritaville. As a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, I will sadly revise my bucket list to exclude a ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’.

We came here to hear Isabella Stefania on stage and ate at the bar. Igor wasthe bartender,and the drinks were impeccable and his service was outstanding.

Honestly, from the outside looking in, it didn't look like anything special. But once we were inside and able to see and experience the ambiance, it was great. We are fans of the Margaritaville brand, so this being "the original" it was a must for us. We're glad we went.
