It has been a week and I am still missing those Baja Shrimp Tacos. Seriously some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. If you are staying nearby this is a great place to walk over to for amazing food.

Food was lackluster. You think for an $18 quesadilla that they'd at least clean the grill it was cooked on. Nope, tasted like old burnt-on grease and whatever else. Food took 30+ minutes to get and not a single chair nearby to sit in.

Staying at the hotel across the street so decided to try this place out. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos (just birria and cheese) and they were amazing. You get 3 tacos for $18. I enjoyed having a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla. As a picky eater, Mexican food can be hard for me to enjoy but I will definitely be back here again during my trip.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and I was looking for Cuban coffee. I decided to try this place and I wasn't disappointed. It's a food truck that serves both breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I also decided to try a Mamey flavored smoothie as I discovered this healthy and tasty fruit. Both were excellent and prices were reasonable. I strongly recommend if in the area.

So Disappointing!
We were so looking forward to trying this decently rated food truck; but after ordering food there this evening (6-20-2025) my wife and I were so disappointed. Average at best food and so many better options in key West; especially for the price.
Our review based on Pork Nachos, Shrimp Tacos, French fires and Mango Smoothie. Pork was dry and needed to be shredded better, the nachos were bland, and the shrimp was basic fried shrimp with no flavor and the tacos were very light on shrimp. We had leftovers and unfortunately had to trash them as they were not worthy as leftovers.
Cannot recommend. Seriously, better places to get good food at the price level they were charging.

The food truck looks kind of like a bit of an after-thought added to the Blue Marlin Motel, but holy guac is it great food.
I ordered the flank steak platter, and while the steak was good and juicy, and rice was fresh, the real star to me was the beans and the chimichurri. I was very tempted to honestly go back and just order a platter of beans and sauce for dinner.
Reasonable prices, friendly staff and great beans.

This is my favorite place to eat in Key West , every time that we are here my wife has to have the chicken tacos and I love the fish platter . We normally stay 4-5 days in the Keys and we eat here at least 2 times while we are here .

I grew up in key largo and I swear I went multiple times to their restaurant like a brick and mortar when it was there. Their Cuban bread was such a delicious and cheap savory treat for me and my sister. Just based on the sign, I believe this is the same place just in a different form. Very fond memories either way!

We are tourists from Australia staying in the Southwinds Motel opposite this food van. Thought we should try some local food. The quesadillas were delicious. Couldn’t be at it all so will heat some up for breakfast tomorrow.
