“We stayed down the block at a AirBnB so naturally got coffee and breakfast our first morning. It was so delicious we ate breakfast there every morning except for one (we had to leave for the ferry before they opened, so we ate dinner there that night!) All the food was amazing! Well seasoned, fresh, flavorful, and portions were huge! The coffee was perfect, I really loved the cortadito and milk espreso. The staff was friendly and offered recommendations if needed.“

“An absolutely hidden gem in Key West. 18 in-house beers that were all very good. There are lots of different beer styles that are all very good. The food menu is perfect for a day of drinking. Their guacamole was superb. The bartender, Angelina, was a joy. Very engaging and knowledgeable about the beer and all things local.“

“This place was phenomenal all around. The owner greeted us, management all greeted us, and staff was attentive all around. Lobster pizza and the street corn pizza were phenomenal. I loved the Pina colada key lime pie. It is by far the best key lime I have tried. The view, the chickens, all of it!!“

“I love this place! I came here years ago when my wife told me about frozen key lime pie on a stick. I was hooked after my first bite. My oldest daughter and I used sneak out and get a slice when the young ones went to bed. Then I bought key lime juice and other treats. Recently I discovered key lime bbq sauce from Kermits and it is soooo good on chicken. Plus this store is dog friendly with a bowl of water for thirsty doggos. I have tried all the other pie on a stick flavors and now just stick with regular dark chocolate.

“Best coffee shop in the planet! We went in and placed an order on an extremely busy day (the day of the airshow) with kids in tow. We were waiting a fair amount of time and the owner came up to me with kind words, pushed the order along, and even threw in a free muffin. Everything we got was DELICIOUS! You could tell by the conversations that they are beloved members of the community, which warms my heart. We will definitely be back every time we head south! ❤️“

“We just left there and we had an amazing time staying at the campground. We went to the restaurant every day and it is really a great place to eat and hang out. We would love to see a couple of delicious desserts added to their menu, but other than that, no complaints at all! Great food, nice atmosphere, and we can’t wait to get back there in December! Also, take a short ride in a Lyft or Uber to Old Town and enjoy!!!“

“After a morning of snorkeling we headed her for lunch. Getting to the restaurant looked a little sketchy but once we were there it seemed OK. I had. hard time understanding the waitress and ended up ordering three appetizers somehow. All three were delicious though. I asked if they had a kids menu when we were seated and he said yes but the waitress would let us know. When asked about the kids menu she said they didnt have any. We got 3 chicken sandwiches, 2 fish and chips and 2 cheeseburgers. While the food was fantastic the service was lacking a bit. We didn't get any refills. The gentleman that brought our food out helped us more then the waitress did. Loved the atmosphere. Light music playing with the view of water but it was nice and cool inside. You have the option to sit outside as well. I would go back for sure.“

“It has such a cool vibe, the staff were super friendly and professional and the food and drinks were so fresh and delicious on top of being really gorgeous! 💗 I also loved the added touch of the dog bowls on the side walk, MANY dogs stooped to grab and quick drink. I recommend 10/10 !“

“Lovely place for breakfast! Me and my family ate eggs, pancakes, bacon and bread for a really reasonable price. The coffee was really good as well! The two people who ran it were really friendly and were happy to talk to us about Key West after we ate. It is also in a beautiful courtyard with seats both outside and inside.

This is a healthy alternative to calorie laden meals. Incorporate a few trips to Date and Thyme in your weekly routine and your belly will smile. Mine gets happy with the Blueberry Bliss smoothie, organic apples (quick snack), espresso, the prepared foods (some make a great meal right on premises). Drinks are no better than anywhere else. Party atmosphere, but if you want good food and decent portions for REASONABLE prices, look elsewhere.“
