Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

Trying to support local business but this place has gone down. How is this jamaican food and they don't have no hot sauce or pepper sauce? The food taste like they putting half the ingredients needed. The soup watery. The food don't taste good no more. The cashier/server attitude is awful. Sad.

DO NOT GIVE THESE NASTY LAZY JAMAICANS A DIME OF YOUR MONEY. THEY SELL OLD/STALE/SPOILED FOOD!!!!!!!!!

Ackee and salt fish had no taste, fried dumplings was nasty. On top of all that small food cost 20$ unbelievable. I was wondering why it was empty when I got there.

I don’t really know what’s going on with this restaurant. But the food was absolutely disgusting. The fried dumplings were hard and overcook. Why would you deliberately serve low quality food?

Patty tasted like paper and was extremely extremely cold...two different prices listed for the patty and they sold me at the higher price...dishonest merchant who needs to be reported...people working were definitely not Jamaican either hence the subpar taste of the food items...embarrassing

I use to love buying food at golden crust but I haven’t ate there in a while and decided to buy 2 plates of rice and peas with jerk chicken and 1 plate of rice and peas with oxtail. I was disappointed with what I got and I wish I had taken a picture of the plate. What I got was a small portion of oxtail with no gravy on the rice. They use to serve cut up cabbage and carrot with plantains on the side but On March 22 2025 what I got for 65$ was a total rip off. From now on I’m going to buy Caribbean food from different restaurant.

Very disappointed! I coming here all the time but this time was very bad. The lady at registered was rude!!! The food was cold and not standard Jamaican food that I used to have from this place!! The food has no taste, cold, remind me food from gas station.

If you’re looking for authentic tasty Caribbean food, this is not the place. Test something small before spending a bunch of money, I would hate for you to experience the same disappointment.

I'm not sure if Golden Krust is still a corporation or a franchise now, but this location is by far the worst I've ever been to in most of Florida and New York City. They either have no inventory at 11am or, like this morning, had undercooked patties. 10am and your first batch of patties aren't even fully re-baked? And to top it off, it costs $4. Make it make sense. Why hasn't this place been investigated? Why is it still operating so atrociously? No quality, no care. Avoid it like the plague.

The food at this Golden krust on Vine st florida , taste Sour, dry out, food like Porridge flickers flickers, Curry Chicken cut so big, don't look appetizing. Nasty food
