A nice trip for myself and family here on an extended vacation. Not what I was initially expecting based off of what I saw on their website. But a nice experience, well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive each way, and enjoyed every moment of the visit.

My wife brought me here to celebrate my birthday. It is beautiful! There are photo ops for those who love taking pictures like myself. We had the pleasure of being served by Andrew, he was friendly, personable and explained how everything worked with the wine tasting. We opted for the bottomless mimosas. He gave us recommendations on other drinks as well as different food items.

For a birthday treat we got the Tickle me pink and The Mer-Mosa, out of the two The Mer-Mosa was my fave but they were pretty and tasty!

We settled on the Spinach and Parmesan Spread & Blackened Shrimp Flatbread. The Spinach and Parmesan Spread was so tasty and extremely cheesy it came with Pita Chips however, the chip to spread ratio was off so one of the servers helping Andrew out got us more pita chips and they came out fresh and hot to our table! The Blackened Shrimp flatbread was amazing! It had the perfect amount of shrimp on each slice! 1000/10

After drinking a bit we got the urge for something sweet so we ordered the Waffles with strawberries and Nutella, I don’t know what kind of sorcery those waffles were made with but every bite was DELICIOUS! 1000/10

We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and next time we will do the wine tasting!

Thank you to Andrew for the recommendations, friendly conversation and being so nice!

I want to give a huge shout out to the staff because there was a pretty big party that came in after us and even with that big party they were attentive to not only the party but us as well!

Formosa Winery Tasting House – June 14, 2025

We visited for our weekly Saturday lunch and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. The space is charming without trying too hard, and it’s a great place to kick back with good food and better drinks.

I had the Prosciutto Cuban — the sandwich was hot, crisp, and packed with flavorful meats and just enough mustard kick. I only ate half and took the rest home (it holds up well, in case you're wondering). It came with chips, which my husband happily finished for me — zero regrets.

He ordered the Shrimp & Grits, which looked fantastic, though it wasn’t his favorite flavor-wise. Still, the portion was generous and the presentation was solid.

What really impressed us was how knowledgeable the staff was about the drinks. My husband tried a small sample of the Orange Crush draft before committing to a full pour, and that personal touch made the experience feel more curated. I enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon — bold, smooth, and a perfect match for the Cuban.

All in all, Formosa Winery Tasting House is a great local spot if you're looking for a low-key lunch with good wine and a cozy vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a great time! The charcuterie board and wine tastings were excellent. Our server, Andrew, was fabulous, very attentive - checked on us multiple times during our visit.

Our waitress was friendly but not the fastest.
The location is clean and very pretty.
we were there with a couple of friends and they all seemed happy with their drinks.
unfortunately my food was not great.
we had the Eggs Benny and a flatbread.
my eggs were totally overcooked -which ruined the whole Benedict experience.
the potatoes were cold and hard, the sauce hollandaise already started to drying. probably because it was standing in the pass forever. 🙄
the flatbread was burnt on one end.
i was not happy at all. and when i mentioned the flatbread is too dark for my taste, the waiter said: its not dark, thats the balsamic glaze. -Yeah, Thanks for nothing Bud! 🙄
at the end i had to pay 20% gratuity thats ALREADY added on my check!
I'm not going back to this place.

My friends and family had a great time. They even helped me seek in a cake to surprise my friends. The food was great and the service was good but busy.

I set up a brunch for our walking group. I called two weeks ahead since we had a large group (13), and left 2 messages 2 different times. Never received a call back. Then I went through Open Table to make partial reservation (since it did not allow me to put in 13), and then contacted the venue again. This time the response was immediate and the number was adjusted. The day of the brunch we were seated right away, and our server was absolutely fantastic - attentive, accommodating, and funny - even when he told us right away that there was an issue with the coffee maker, and that they were running low on waffles at 10:00 am). Still, everyone got the food that they wanted. The food was o.k., there were no culinary masterpieces, but the everything was decent, and my group was happy. The drinks and the mimosas were fantastic. Overall, our group had a great time, the service was amazing, and we will be back. The venue is beautiful - inside and outside. Side Note: It would be nice to see prices of the wine that is for sale; it may get people to actually purchase a bottle or two.

A really nice place, a beautiful view, and great mimosas definitely

Limited menu, long delay getting seated, another long delay before someone took drink order, took longer than expected to get drinks, ordered appetizer, then, after waiting hostess tells us they were sold out of the spinach dip we ordered(this was at 2pm). Placed order for another app. Expecting it to come before main entries, main entries come, chef said flatbread was left in oven to long, making another, midway through main entries, 2nd app is brought out.

I was able to host a group of 6 other women at the winery for brunch. We selected the bottomless mimosas for the afternoon and we were not disappointed. I will give our server Natt a standing applause! Despite it being a bit shorthanded the day we visited, she provided excellent service while being pulled in many directions. The Formosa grounds are beautiful despite not being a traditional vineyard. I look forward to returning when in the Orlando area and I will recommend this location to my clients. We visit Formosa winery everytime we're in town. This time we noticed prices a little higher than usual particularly for wine tasting. The venue is beautiful and the food is good. But our experience wasn't quite at the same level that we expected this time. Service was exceptional slow. But this was due to staff shortages. It's still a nice restaurant / winery. It's worth trying out for brunch.

Have been leaving message for over a month and NO one has called me as of today. My reservation is approaching. This is very disappointing especially since someone referred me here.

UPDATE IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD STILL NO CALL OR EMAIL RESPONSE.
